NillIt was so nice walking in and being greeted by Marcy and Kathy. They were jovial, friendly and very accommodating. It makes all the difference in the world to walk into a hotel and be greeted with KINDNESS. They truly made my day. It really started our stay (weekend) out pleasurable. Thanks again for going that extra mile to make all of us feel welcome. And there was a lot of us that weekend (our volleyball teams) that mentioned how nice Marcy and Kathy were. Hampton Inn's NEED MORE MARCY'S AND KATHY'S to greet people and make everyone feel welcome. It makes a DIFFERENCE!!! THEY MADE A DIFFERENCE!!! The room was nice. The breakfast was good for being a free breakfast that is provided with your stay. The location was convenient for what we needed in between playing volleyball all day. We will return next year.

NillThe staff are very respectful and will help with what you need asap the hotel is beautiful along with the rooms but the valet services definitely cancel all of that because they force you to use valet because they have no parking lot which is $50 or you can use a non-hotel parking garage and pay every time you leave, we went with the valet option and it is terrible because if you need to go somewhere you might be waiting an hour or more just for them to get your car and there’s only one valet person so when it’s busy you have to drive around downtown until a spot opens( was out all day and came back to hotel starving just to drive around for 40 minutes). If it wasn’t for the valet troubles this would be a 5 star hotel guaranteed or at least give guest an option that’s convenient like making a deal with the parking garage for hotel guests but I doubt that will happen but if the valet doesn’t bother you then this is a great hotel

NillRooms were not overly clean and was evident that the cleaning crew rushed their job. Wrappers on floor, dust on surfaces and smudged mirror wiped with dirty cloth. The wall mounted shower shampoo was empty, not even a squirt, so likely it’s been empty for some time. Instead of conditioner mounted in the shower next to bath gel and the empty shampoo, found out the uncomfortable way the room staff instead mounted body lotion. Then the breakfast was fair but ran out of both medium and dark roast coffees. Most disruptive was how the adjacent room door was so thin we were kept up late and woken early by the particularly talkative (not shouting or yelling simply talking) people in the adjacent room. The gap under the door was significant such that ample light shown through in addition to the sound. With the doors closed it sounded like they were in our room. Separately, twice were left wondering where the valet was when pulled up to the hotel and literally waited 10 min standing at curb for them to appear. Lastly, we woke to St. John’s church bells ringing intermittently throughout Sunday morning…forget sleeping in past 8am! The unfortunate result of the hotel location being next to the cathedral but it’s another example that the rooms need a thorough sound-proofing overhaul. In the future, I’ll choose elsewhere to stay even if a have to pay a bit more. There are plenty of downtown hotels that are better than this Hampton Inn in several ways.

NillWe stayed on the 14th floor. The room was good size, very clean, and well stocked. Another reviewer complained about the church bells across the street but I believe they stopped at 10:00 p.m. and they weren't very loud. The only noise issue we encountered was a fire truck, several times throughout the night, going by with sirens and air horn honking loudly. No fault of the hotel, just something to be aware of. We were on the city view side. Busy hotel but well run. Breakfast area was busy but always well stocked. Staff very courteous and friendly.

NillLocated at the heart of downtown Cleveland, this hotel has 14 floors. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and tidy. I love the statement piece "Cleveland" divided into three vertical paintings. Breakfast served from 6am to 10 am consists of the usual items - breads, muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, yogurt, oatmeal, waffles, juices and of course - coffee. The only complaint about this hotel is that it only has valet parking, which, of course, you need to pay for. I do not mind coming back as we slept really well as the beds were clean and comfy.

NillOverall the room was clean and nice view! The breakfast was good and the bartender was very friendly! However I will give a heads up there is no parking except the valet and a parking garage which you have to pay an additional few! Also anywhere you go to eat in the downtown area you will have to pay to park too! The hotel itself was nice

★★★★The location of this hotel is great as you can walk to nearby parks, pubs, and attractions like the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. The staff is good although when requested they missed one of our room cleaning days during our 5 night stay. The breakfast is the generic one you’ll find at all Hamptons, namely egg cheese omelettes and sausages. If you are a tea drinker like me you have to get there earlier in the morning service as the hot water is cooled and won’t be topped up. Note: This is located in an area that is siren rich. Fire, Ambulance, Police -- they are wailing by at all hours.

NillGreat location. Close enough to walk or get a quick Lyft to attractions. Room are clean and spacious, except for the bathroom. Valet is $48 per night and not very efficient. Long lines checking in and out. Waited over 30 minutes for our car. Breakfast is crowded and okay. Street noise and ice machine noise is something to deal with.
