Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend who was there for a business conference. Super nice greeting from Andre, personal greeter! Easy check-in, the person pointed out where everything was.||Double room beds were very comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake. Quiet, no hall or other adjacent room noise. The shower was standard, a point off for non adjustable flow. The coffee for the little coffee maker was actually very good, strong enough to drink black. ||Lively bar scene with mostly conference goers. The barber shop was constantly busy! My friend had lunch at Il Venetian and said it was very good. I enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal and the pot of coffee was fantastic, again strong enough to drink black. Good location for walking to Rock Hall, Rocket Arena and downtown. ||The Ascend spa was nice and moderately priced. The gym was gigantic as it is an actual gym in addition to being available for Marriott guests. ||I prefer smaller hotels but since I was tagging along I have no complaints. It was very comfortable.

First time staying at this property... very happy with my stay. Mason provided exceptional customer service at check in and provided me with a late checkout. He was very friendly and welcoming. The check in process was an absolute breeze. He provided me with wonderful recommendations for dining and other things to do in the area. He was so accommodating and was an absolute sweetheart! The hotel itself has a great bar and restaurant. Gym is open 24/7. Property itself was immaculate, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, great location. I was within walking distance to everything downtown. Highly recommended if you're staying in downtown Cleveland. If you like Italian cuisine, there is a phenomenal restaurant located in the hotel...|Il Venetian- HIGHLY recommended!

this is the absolute best hotel i have ever stayed at in Cleveland! upon checking in, they upgraded us due to it being my friend's birthday. we were able to get complimentary breakfast in the morning. this hotel is around many walkable businesses, and the rooms are very clean. the only issue i had was with valet. once we checked out of the hotel, we went over to the valet desk to get our car. the girl told us it would be 10-15 minutes. 30 minutes goes by after us sitting literally right next to her. i asked her if my car was going to be here anytime soon and she looked at me as if she never saw me before even though i just spoke with her. she was asking for the paper she just gave me and told me my car would be there soon. well.... my keys were still hanging up that were right next to her. during this waiting period, there were 3 valet guys standing around near her so i knew there was an issue going on cause my car should've been there a half hour ago. so, we waited 45 minutes for my car to be delivered to the front entrance because the employee never gave anyone my keys to begin with...

Hotel restaurant was so accommodating. We were in town for a lacrosse game and apparently the night we were a party of 14 looking for dinner and every place was jammed due to several local events going on. The staff at the hotel was so accommodating and told us to come right in. Well, the service was impeccable and the food was perfect, just what we were looking for. We were able to enjoy good food and drinks and our table of 14 was perfect, we could all talk and it could not have been better. I am personally a Marriott Bonvoy member and this just reassured me as to why. Spectacular job Marriott!!

The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower is a pleasant hotel in a prime downtown Cleveland location. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly friendly, making for a welcoming overall experience. My room was tidy and comfortable, though starting to feel a bit outdated—some renovations or a refresh might be due soon. The toilet ran intermittently throughout the day and night, which was somewhat distracting, and the thin door made it easy to hear hallway noise. Other than these issues, the room was suitable for my stay. As a Marriott Platinum member, I appreciated having lounge access, which offered breakfast in the morning and appetizers in the evening—a quiet spot for a quick bite or a place to relax. The on-site restaurant is also worth trying if you’d prefer not to venture out. I ordered the steak, and it was both filling and well-prepared. The service was quick, and the bartender was friendly. Overall, The Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower is a solid choice for anyone needing comfortable accommodations in downtown Cleveland, and I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel in downtown Cleveland. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. They truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room itself was spectacular. Everything was spotless, well-designed, and extremely comfortable. The bed was perfect for a great night’s sleep, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. It felt like every detail had been carefully considered to ensure a luxurious and relaxing experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the room service. My favorite place to stay in Cleveland for work. Friendly and helpful staff, great comfortable beds, AWESOME gym and spa… the steam room is heavenly…The folks here really know how to take care of you! Great location in the square. My home away from home. Great view of the stadium and the lake

Nice hotel, convenient location, friendly staff, only minor thing is the rooms need complete renovation. They are fully functional but very dated. Surprised with the pillows, usually Marriott gives you one firmer and one fluffy, but this hotel was all fluffy, had to double up one of the pillows for a mildly firm one.
