★★★This was a bit disappointing for an Autograph Hotel. I was expecting more from a luxury hotel and the matching price tag. We stayed in a corner king suite and the room was in rough condition. The room was relatively clean, but the fixtures were worn, torn, rusted and showing their age. I really expect more from a $1200 for 2 night experience. ||Good:|-Good location|-Friendly and helpful staff |-The Centro Restaraunt was quite good||Meh:|-The room layouts are non-traditional with an open bathroom (shower and tubs in the middle of the room)|-Our room had a ton of small windows, but the curtains didn’t close all the way which let in lots of light. ||Bad:|-The hotel looks tired. Worn carpets in the hallways and rooms. Saw multiple holes and cracked drywall around the property. |-Our suite just felt “grimey.” It wasn’t dirty per se, but the worn fixtures just made it look bad. Price did not match expectations. ||It was an average stay that fell short of expectations. I would not recommend the hotel at the current price point. I’ve had better stays at lower-tier Marriott properties.

NillThis is by far the most unkept and dirty hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I travel weekly and have stayed at properties from almost all of Marriott’s brands. This was the worst. For an autograph collection, I thought I could expect and count on it to be at least sanitary, but I had to change rooms twice. The first room, the mattress had dark blood stains on the mattress. The second room smelled strong of mildew and had a brown streak of something on the top sheet. At the end of the day, all I care about is the rooming being clean. This was disgusting. I know platinum status doesn’t mean anything anymore, but for what it’s worth, this is not up to Marriott standards. I’m currently staying in a Fairfield Inn for half the cost and it’s spotless. Not hard to keep a hotel clean, but they are not delivering here. I had a horrible sleep on the lumpy, very worn mattress, and left feeling gross even after a shower (which had very sticky floors). I understand when bathrooms can be a little dirty, or have dust, but a clean mattress is the absolute bare minimum to expect. The gym was the only saving grace - it was very well equipped and had AC set to a nice temperature.

NillStayed one night for our 10th anniversary as it’s close to Marble Room and was highly recommended by family. However, I was underwhelmed. For the price of the room, I expected more. Starting at the front desk, the attendant didn’t introduce herself or welcome us to the 9. She gruffly asked for my license and credit card. The room was interesting…I’ve never had the shower directly next to the bed. Also regarding the oddly placed shower, I’ve included a picture of the body wash bottle. I didn’t notice the hair until I was well into my shower. Made me question the cleanliness of the entire room as a result. For about $650 for the night, I’d say I’m not very likely to return.

★★★★★I've stayed here a few times and always enjoy my stay. I got a warm inviting welcome from Nikki at the front desk! She was wonderful and made check in a breeze! She offered me a late checkout, which was greatly appreciated and made sure I had a wonderful room. I couldn't decide where I wanted to eat so I asked Nikki...She was so accommodating and eager to help me with recommendations for dinner which was greatly appreciated. Carl helped with my bags and was as sweet as could be! Jerry is ALWAYS such a pleasure... he always greets me with a big smile, a welcome back and always provides exceptional customer service anytime I stay at this property. He is so genuine when he says thank you for staying with us. I absolutely love Jerry!! Thank you Nikki, Jerry and Carl for an exceptional stay once again!

★★★★★I was staying at this hotel to attend a convention for work. I had a slightly rocky check-in with someone whose name I didn’t catch (she couldn’t find my reservation by name, confirmation number or convention host name, and wasn’t very nice about it), but Jordan came over and helped get me checked in and settled, which I appreciated. (I absolutely had a reservation.) Later, I saw that my boss’ room was pretty … odd, like, the bathtub was right next to the bed, and I went downstairs to see if his room could be changed. Jerry made it happen, which, boy, I really REALLY appreciated. And Carl helped me get a package I’d been sent ahead of time; I always worry about that. So, while my work trip hotel check-in started off pretty frustrating, Jordan, Jerry and Carl all made it wonderful. I wanted to get all three of their names (hopefully spelled mostly right) to call out just how amazing they are; it really impacted my opinion of my stay in a very positive way. THANK you, you guys! I hope the hotel knows how exceptional you are.

NillWEDDING REVIEW- As an event professional that has worked in the industry for 25 years, working with GOOD people makes such a huge difference in my job. Over the years I've had the joy of working with really amazing event professionals at the hotel from Zeina to Allie and now Kennedy and somehow each time their event person is incredible. Whoever does their hiring is doing a really great job of hiring strong team members! When Allie left I never expected them to end up finding a THIRD superstar but somehow they did and I am so thrilled. Kennedy works hard, responds quickly, knows the hotel in and out and is always willing to put in 100% for the client. It makes my job so nice to know that a property will always provide the best of the best for my clients. We recently had clients that got married at the property and Kennedy was there every step of the way with friendly advice or a quick response to any of my 100 questions. She managed the wedding day and took care of things like a true professional. I am looking forward to working with her again soon! Event Details- Wedding. Rehearsal Dinner at hotel. Cocktail hour in the vault and reception in ballroom. Room Block for guests. Item of Note- Keep in mind that valet service at most downtown Cleveland hotels tends to run slow so you'll want to consider a shuttle or just a time frame that allows for some minor delays.

NillI called early in the week for special accommodations. Was told to check back day of to confirm. Called day of my check in, my requests were made. Chelsea, Nikki, and Kendra, went out of their way to ensure my stay was 5 star. They gave us tips of local restaurants and local favorites to try as well. I’ve stayed in numerous places all over the county, these three ladies went above and beyond in customer service. Thank you for making our stay one to remember. I wanted to add The Ledger…not your normal hotel bar. Everything there is elevated. TJ added skill and flair to every cocktail. It’s rare to find folks that enjoy their work. We got talked into hotel pizza, the hot honey pie was a show stopper. Great birthday weekend.

NillHas declined greatly. Over $300 a night, sheets cover only half the bed. Mattress is trash in room 1015. I’ve slept on air mattresses that are more comfortable. Service at bar and restaurant is slow to mid avg. Their dog park is a concrete piss room that is probably washed once a month. Hose doesn’t work. Standards are subpar at this location.
