Our stay was perfect! The rooms and property are not only stunning, but very clean and beautifully stocked with amenities. Asia at the front desk, though, is where my 5-star review comes from! We checked in for our birthday getaway and she was an angel! So kind and helpful but also personable… that girl is going places.. She even personally restocked our waters and slipped us a birthday card. That girl deserves a raise! I would also highly recommend finding other parking. There are garages less than a 5 minute walk that charge 1/4 of this price if you are only staying the night! 900 and 645 Prospect garages are a safe bet

I’m told that I am hard to please and I’m very, very picky, especially about hotels in general. I absolutely LOVED the Roost!!!! It is sooo grand and far exceeded my expectations. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit/apartment for the week. The bedding and comforters were just as promised, washer and dryer in unit, great kitchen and open space living, lots of light, etc. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were really, really spacious and the photos weren’t lying. We relaxed every evening, were able to discover some nearby restaurants within walking distance ( Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club serves great food along with a comedy show on weekends), along with other Cleveland greats ( about a mile away) such as Heck’s and Astoria Restaurant.|I’m a big fan of soaker tubs and this was an added bonus! This is now our “go-to place” in Cleveland. Parking is a bit scary at first but there are people to help you. Like others said, prepay for your pass. It’s worth it. Security is very tight and there is some confusion when checking in but once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty smoothly. Thank you, Letica, Emily, Carla and others who were such a big help.|So glad that this hotel came to our attention when I did a search for a place to stay for the week!

Great location, huge space, super clean. We were very impressed and will definitely be back. High ceilings, well appointed and right in the heart of downtown. Check in was easy even though this isn’t really a ‘hotel’ like a Marriott etc. Also had convenient and secure parking.

Really nice hotel with an “apartment” style feel. Good size rooms, comfy beds and nice amenities. We stayed there during the NCAA basketball tournament and this place is right near the arenas and the Casino. The elevators were malfunctioning throughout our trip, which was the only knock against this wonderful place.

Despite the lengthy and complicated requirements for parking and check in, our stay was spectacular. Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment. Well equipped with high ceilings and great light. A nice big tv for March Madness and heaps of restaurants on nearby 4th Street.

This is a wonderful place to stay for so many reasons. Aside from the obvious (clean rooms, price is right, location is perfect), the staff was the friendliest group of people! Personally thankful for Asia who took the time to walk my party to the "May side" entrance when we got it wrong. Instead of giving a directionally impaired person a rapid fire verbal list of cues, she walked with us and gave us some history (which is amazing) of the building. She is a rock star :) Thank you for a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I were looking to experience a small part of Cleveland for a few days to beat the winter blues. After much research we chose The Roost. The Roost is awesome. Located literally steps away from a lot of places to eat and see. Our one bedroom "apartment" was nice, spacious, neat and tidy. The few times we interacted with the staff; they were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We did not have a good experience staying at the ROOST Cleveland. The room itself was large, and the two bedroom / two bath configuration was good, however, there were several problems with the room: phone didn't work so we couldn't call down to the security desk when we needed something, the wi-fi kept going in and out, the walls are very thin (there was a dog barking in the room next to ours at all hours of the night resulting in very little sleep each night), and the AC/heating was very loud when running and the thermostats don't allow you to turn it completely off - you can adjust the set temp but not turn it off. On top of the problems with the room, the location is really not good. The road that the building is on is very loud at night with trucks, motorcycles, loud cars driving by occasionally throughout the night....given the thin walls and large windows don't expect a good night's sleep if you are anything but the soundest of sleepers. Also, housekeeping doesn't come to clean the rooms or replace the toiletries each day. This really is more of an apartment building than a full service hotel. The staff that sits at the security desk are very nice so this review isn't a reflection on them. Given all of the above, the "value proposition" definitely isn't there. We certainly wouldn't stay here again.
