NillDO NOT book to stay here!! The least of my concerns is NO ELEVATOR to upper floors. This may explain why the maids don't care how clean the rooms are. Who would want to lug all cleaning equipment up 2 flights of stairs? I asked to see the room before checking in and I am so glad I did! The pillows are about the size of decorative sofa pillows. 2 per bed. I would have taken a photo, but the squashed bed bug on one bed and brown stains on the fitted sheet on the other bed were enough to make me run. What makes this okay with the hotel owner and the staff? The young man at the desk, who was very courteous, offered us another room, with 2 full size beds. Besides my husband and son being over 6 ft tall (their feet would hang off the end of the bed), it really wouldn't make a difference if the place has bed bugs! The cost of the room doesn't justify the condition of the room. I've stayed in much cheaper, bare minimum amenities hotels that were spotlessly clean. I would be suspect of any review that rate this place more than 2 stars.

NillThe staff very helpful really appreciated the help I had a lot of stuff in my car and I needed to get it in this is a split level Hotel so three floors. Toilet immediately overflowed night clerk also the maintenance man came in got a plunger and fixed it and left the plunger in case there was any other problems and took the time to wrap it up for me. Room did not smell however lights only one worked in the room and then of course the bathroom lights did work I know some of them were unplugged but I shouldn't have to go looking under the bed for an outlet or a extension cord to plug things in. Refrigerator was cold all I wanted was to go to sleep I didn't turn the TV on or anything. I could not get the heater on the air condition unit to work so I was a little cold I would have loved a blanket on the bed instead of just the sheet and the thin bedspread. I was just too tired to get up and walk to the front desk and ask for one. Staff is the real gym of this hotel in Clark and then the night Clerk very helpful no problem when I needed something in they had a breakfast that was more than just bread and cereal.

NillI booked a room at this establishment in a short notice during sturgis weekend. I had no problems getting a room. Although I was skeptical about staying based on previous reviews, when I showed up the gentleman with colored hair was super nice and respectful, and made it easy to check in. My room was on the second floor, so getting things up stairs was a small struggle but other than that, my room was clean and basically did it’s job for what I paid. I didn’t smell any weird smells, as previous reviewers stated, and it was nice and quiet all night. Overall good experience.

NillThe only affordable hotel we could find in Rapid City. The front desk staff were great and the entrance area was pretty good. The room had a strong odd small. We found several open beer cans with beer and other stuff still in them on the window sill. That might have had something to do with the smell, but it didn't go away when we removed them. Bath towels are like hand towels. I would stay there again if I had to, but I would prefer not to.

NillOne star is being generous. The room had blood stains on a pillow case, make-up stains on the hand towel in the bathroom, dead bugs on the floor and smelled so musty. The hotel manager who works for corporate as he bragged also decided to charge us for another night after we had checked out and repeatedly avoided calling us back after we reached him multiple times about the extra charge. We paid for two nights but the quality and cleanliness was so poor that we left after the first night and went to a much nicer hotel nearby. Save yourself the headache and choose a different place to stay, there are many hotels in the area. The extra $10-$20 is well worth it.

NillI typically do not leave reviews as I try to resolve with the staff. However, the owner was absolutely unreasonable. Our air conditioner did not work so they moved us into another room. That room did not have a working one either. When asking if there would be another room to move into, the owner said that we were being unreasonable. He would not listen to us and then told us to just leave. He would not refund our night without air conditioning. This hotel should be avoided at all costs. This owner owns others nearby and I would steer clear of those as well. He was disrespectful, rude, and incredibly unkind. I have to say the front desk ladies were extremely kind and helpful.

NillTerrible all around would not stay again.... Almost a $1000 for a week to stay a dirty hotel with barely working A/C moldy breakfast and rude staff. First room had hair from private parts in bathroom sheets were dirty/stained no fridge or microwave as stated on line. Went to desk ask for issues to be resolved was given an attitude. Told I could move to room with fridge And microwave in it but a/c didn't work. Told staff didn't want room without A/C. New room carpets badly stained not vacuumed bathroom floor had sticky residue on it. Breakfast was subpar as most continental are but worst part was moldy biscuits.Never anyone at the desk to help when needed.

NillMost horrible experience ever at any place we have ever stayed in. I needed our room card re keyed and went to front desk. After being ignored for about five minutes while the guy running the desk was complaining to someone on the phone about how he chewed a guest out I spoke up if he was going to help me. He yelled at me and I asked him if he was going to fix the dam key. Then it hit the fan as he aggressively approached me and told me and my wife to leave the motel. Only thing was we could not get into the room and he refused to re key it. We had already paid for room. I was ready to leave but he refused to let us in room for about half an hour. I asked to talk to manager he said it was his motel. He demanded apology from me?????? I apologized but don’t know what for. Room was dirty. No breakfast except a honey bun. Charged fir a safe that did not have a key. Charged extra for Covid cleaning…room was dirty. Guy running desk has severe issues. Just horrible. This place should be closed down.
