DoubleTree by Hilton Rapid City Downtown Convention Center

The staff, rooms, location, everything was great but it was so loud I couldn't sleep. Bar close on weekends is midnight and it was loud well past. There isn't really a way to get away from the noise the way the hotel is set up. All the reviews I saw mentioned it was quiet and I needed sleep when we stayed so that was a part of why I booked. Other than that it was great, if sleep isn't something you need a lot of on the particular night or you can sleep through noise when you are staying it's really nice.

Quiet location (no road noise) heat inside room operate quietly and sufficiently, not close to any food or shops but the restaurant in lobby is very good. Microwave and fridge in room with 2 free water bottles to drink . Indoor swimming pool with hot tub and dry sauna.. good hotel stay!

Just wanted to take time to lift up the staff for their incredible customer service. We had a small issue with the room, but they quickly rectified the issue and took great care of me and my family. The staff went above and beyond! Dennis the MOD, Steve, the FD supervisor and Tim at the FD. Their attention to quality service contributes to this place to be one you would want to visit frequently. I highly recommend you stay here at this hotel. ~ A Grateful family with a pleasant stay.

Really a nice mid-range hotel with all the amenities next door to Monument Convention Center where meeting held. We ate a late dinner and a lunch at Golden Bison Grill and found food good and service excellent in evening; a lone server at lunchtime still good job getting our food orders & requests. Good burger & on tap brew for dinner, excellent wrap for early lunch. Nice pool big enough for laps, jacuzzi & sauna. Weights in good shape in weight room, stationary bike worked fine. Didn’t figure out the tv.

Room was clean, fairly quiet. Hot water didn't work, nor did the heat past 65degrees, when called the front desk to switch rooms, they said they were fully booked but upon checking out they had more than half of the rooms vacant. Noticed it was pet friendly, lots of dogs. Not worth the 170ish price for a standard room with the issues.

Went for dinner before a concert last night. Service was slow, it took an hour to get our food and it was cold. Didn’t want to send the food back, cuz we all know how that turns out. We arrived at 5:45 and they could not provide a couple decent hamburgers in a two hour time frame. They were not prepared for a busy night and it was apparent.

The 2oo$ room we spent on this place wasn't worth it, the DJ was set up late, the security were kids, my room was a 3 star; broken door, big stain on the carpet and roof water damage. Drinks were pricey, I hope the brunch is worth it.

Husband and I spent five nights here on recent trip to South Dakota. The hotel was clean and a very convenient location. Lots and lots of tour groups passing through, but it wasn't noisy or bothersome. The room was a nice size and beds comfortable. We also used the laundry room, which was clean but only one washer and dryer.
