Baymont by Wyndham Rapid City

The staff at this hotel were fantastic! Very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Chauncey made breakfast every day while we were there and you could tell he took pride in his work. The ladies at the front counter (I’m sorry, I don’t remember their names) were very helpful and friendly too. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

My family recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham in Rapid City, South Dakota, for 4 nights while on vacation and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable. The location was great too! It's right off of the freeway and was easy to find our way around town. It's close to shopping, restaurants and Mt. Rushmore. The service is the part that I was most impressed with. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! Chauncey made a great breakfast and takes a lot of pride in his work. Samira, the manager, was very understanding and helped me solve a problem that I had in booking through a third-party website (Do NOT do that! Make sure to call the hotel directly when booking your room!) The fault was my own, but she worked hard to help me get my problem resolved and she did it with a smile and a great attitude. Beth at the front desk was also extremely friendly and helpful in getting us everything we needed. This is the best hotel staff that I have ever encountered and they helped make our family's vacation a fun and memorable experience. If you're coming to South Dakota, stay at the Baymont by Wyndham in Rapid City.

This was a great hotel. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were both very nice and friendly. The room was clean and HUGE. The bed was super, their TV service was very slow at changing channels, but had plenty of options. I had an accessible room, very nice set up for someone in a wheelchair, OTHER THAN, why would you put that room on the top floor, FARTHEST from the elevator! I know that has nothing to do with the hotel staff, but more to the dumb architect. I normally travel with my father who is bound to a wheelchair and so if they have an accessible room available I try to check it out if I am going to return there often. With that said, this would be a hard motel to move him around. The 4th floor hallway and room is all very cushy carpet, its great for walking but not easy to roll on. (also a design fault). As far as the hotel however, main floor was great, quality breakfast, great price, good parking and a few food sources within walking distance. The only thing I can say that was slightly bad was the shower stall, again the architect specified using granite as the wall material in the shower, well over time with the soap and cleaners it looks kind of gross at the floor/wall transition. Again, this is the only concern.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The room was clean and comfortable. A solid cleaning of the hot tub and slightly higher quality waffle batter and gravy mix would earn the 5th star.

Baymont was a great hotel for my family and I to stay at, on our way to Wisconsin. The washer and dryer was a great amenities for our family because of traveling we had to no access to a washer and dryer it was $1.75 for each so not bad. Also the complimentary breakfast was beyond good and filling lots of options. The rooms were great and the location was close to the stores and food nearby. We had a great stay 10/10 recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The majority of our week in SD we stayed here and I'm so glad we did. Very clean, comfortable room, large continental breakfast with plenty of seating (we had our dog and she was allowed at the table farthest from the breakfast bar with no issues), additional snacks were great prices to grab and go. There were two area to get ready in front of a mirror was was helpful, shower was clean. The only warning I will give is that the area for your pups to potty in had many spiney weeds to hurt paws and there was not great lighting.

Solid place - affordable, clean, and a nice breakfast spread. Location is right off of I-90. Pool and hot tub are a bonus. ||I stay in the hills often - multiple times a month. Tried several properties but this is the one that I come back to most regularly.

This was a great place to stay. If you're looking to use the workout equipment. It is not very desirable. There was no hand weights. And for some reason, it is seventy four degrees in that room.Which is way too hot for working out. Also, the water bottle needed to be filled and we asked, but another bottle wasn't put on. Other than that, our stay was absolutely great. I would come back again.
