NO!!! Scratch Windham and Motel 8 from my list of places to stay. Stair and hallway carpets filthy. Maintenance issues throughout. No elevator. 1 outside security cam w little coverage for cars. 3 solo men sitting in 3 sub $200 cars looking suspect. Just hanging out in the pothole ridden parking lot. while we checked in. . Exposed fluorescent coil lights hardly guide you down dark hallways. Dim and damaged walls appear rolled in Killz Primer white. Lock didn’t work on first attempt. Bathroom sink broken. We are not picky and have stayed in hostels and dive motels around the world. We were so shocked we did what I should have first done. Read the reviews. Then we promptly left for the choice hotel up the street, which was the same price and a world away from this dump.

This is actually a review from September of 2021, not December (hopefully they've improved since then!). I don't normally take a bunch of pictures of a hotel room I stayed in but this one was kind of gross. The room was dusty in many places, the carpet was stained in multiple places, and there was a half-eaten sandwich in the safe (see pictures). It wasn't like the safe was locked either, just housekeeping never bothered to open it I guess. We didn't need the safe so we only discovered the sandwich because my friend's toddler found it, which is disgusting. I was in a first floor room. There was a drive-thru to a food place right outside my window. The window in my room, in a slightly sketchy looking area, had a broken lock on it so literally anyone inside or out could just slide the window open. When we told the staff about the broken lock they gave us a stick to put in the window to keep it from being opened from the outside. They actually had this stick specifically for that, as if a broken lock on a window was a common occurrence (you can see the tag they had on it in the pictures) Or maybe people feeling unsafe there is a common occurrence? Either way it was not OK. My friend also told me the bathroom by the lobby was gross.

Do not stay at this horrible place. Run now. The room was dirty. The front desk clerk had a horribke temper and refused to rekey a card. They also charged extra for “so called” enhanced vivid cleaning and extra for a safe that did not work. Literally worst experience I’ve ever had staying somewhere. They advertised breakfast and all they had was pre packaged honeybuns and granola bars. Absolutely horrible.

We booked this place months in advance at a price of $63 per night thru hotels.com. We arrived a day early & were told we would need to pay$159 for that addional night. Our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator! Our room was just getting cleaned & had to wait 20 minutes in the hall way. Tub & sink had hair in it, there was 1 bath towel for 2 people. Had to go ask for towels every other day. Towels were old, stained & felt like sand paper. Place was dated, you could here anyone that was in the hallway at all times. Breakfest consisted of pre-packaged stale mini muffins. At time of checkout I was charge $159 for each night we stayed there. Over double of what we booked. I was informed they can change there pricing at anytime without notice. No manager around to speak too. There were 2 other customers also complaining of the price being higher than they booked. We were loading in the parking lot & a guy came out pissed off, as they quoted 159 per night over phone & $350 per night when he got there. I checked the hitel.com site & it's nightly rate was now over $500. NEVER AGAIN!

I chose this hotel as it was dog friendly and the Sundance location was great.. not so here.||My dog was having a treatment. This was close to vet. ||Arrived no blankets or bed cover, only a sheet and two bath towels. No face towel nothing. ||They came up with two blankets. ||The toilet was not working. It would run non stop. In the morning I asked to use a bathroom as I feared this would over flow. ||The GENERAL MANAGER ABBIGAIL told me they had no public restroom. She said I could walk to the convenience store. She then told me it was her day off but she came in because of some influx of guests. ||I didn’t even ask her why she was there. ||Maybe two lights worked otherwise it was dark. ||The smoke detector outside my room chirped all day and night. No one could fix it. ||The maintenance man let me use his toilet thankfully. Tried to fix mine but never did. It overflowed eventually. ||I had to use the only two towels I had to mop up the water. ||I asked the house keeper if I could have a hand towel to dry my hands and she gave me a rag basically.. ||a shredded up towel. ||I didn’t even have a face towel or anything else other than the two bath towels. ||The room carpet was filthy..||Thank goodness the fan worked even though the front grill fell off. I used the fan to muffle the chirping sound. ||I definitely would of sought out a different location if my dog wasn’t receiving a treatment locally. ||This place doesn’t deserve one star.. it’s no wonder no on stars there.

Decent enough. The room was super clean and the AC worked well. It's also in a great location, right off of the interstate. However, there's no elevator (and my room was on the 3rd floor), the bed only had two pillows on it, and the toilet nearly overflowed on each flush. It's good for the price, just don't put any paper in the toilet.

Arrived to check in, had to wait 15 minutes because there was nobody at the front desk. The head lady here didn’t present herself and the company in a good way. Had an attitude as if she didn’t want to be here. Room A/C sucks! Walked into my room and it was humid and smelt as if they couldn’t afford febreze! Cheappppp hand soap took forever to wash my hands properly. Just to let you all know bring an extra blanket , apparently they can’t afford an ACTUAL blanket.

I came here as a fluke, stayed 10 days and couldn't be more pleased. Desk staff can be a little terse, perhaps I could've done without the eye roll I got from a frustrated clerk but that was a 1-off and this industry can be taxing, this I know from my own professional experience. The rooms are very clean, and I believe they all have a safe w/ key, the breakfast is good enough and well staffed, and even the housekeeping staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. Overall, my 2nd great experience with this particular Super 8! Will be back.
