Residence Inn Austin Parmer/Tech Ridge

The evening receptionist is an absolute angel, she's been the best part of this stay by far (Amber maybe, based on other reviews? I wish I caught her name!). The room was surprisingly spacious and I enjoyed the layout, the nice kitchen area, the huge desk. The bathroom left a little to be desired (peeling wallpaper, some stains) but I had no functionality-related problems. I feel like I heard a lot of people talking in the hallway all evening. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay at this location again.

Great stay at this Residence Inn. Staff was marvelous and housekeeping was point. Special kudos to the Irish lass, Amber, who made the stay friendly and enjoyable. Breakfast was decent. The building and rooms are a bit dated which is the reason for 4 stars. Recommend

Positive: Very friendly staff, Negative: They did not have any tortillas, so make sure to bring it with you for the eggs because they are cage free! try to also bring your own starches because the only starch they had was the homemade bread and oat meal ;did have turkey sausage and pork early

This was a delightful little hotel. I had the rare treat of traveling by myself to visit my son who is at school here in Austin. I felt safe the entire time that I was on the property. And I was greeted by the friendliest evening receptionist! The room was immaculate and comfortable. Love the bedding. Wanted to steal it! 😂 Breakfast was good but there was a lot of artificial sweetener and fake butter. So that was my only complaint. I definitely prefer the older clientele at Residence Inns. It makes for a very quiet stay. 😴

Stayed here for several days. Very reasonable prices. This is an older but reasonably well maintained place. I downrated location because it is on the edge of a homeless population area. This didn't cause any issues however. Do be careful to check for windows being locked. We found some in our rooms that had the latches open. Breakfast was good and service overall was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

Good location, quiet area but close to the main highways. Friendly service with a smile! Seems a bit dated but not terrible and my room smelled like maybe a dog had been there for a while? Kind of musty. Lighting around the vanity area is very dim and tub/shower head probably need to be replaced. Low shower pressure and couldn’t change the shower setting although the head shows you can. Door deadbolt did not work. Bed was comfortable and living space/kitchenette was spacious.
