NillSomewhat disappointed in this Hilton hotel. While it was impeccably clean, the "suite" was one large room with a curtain partition. The entry into the room was more narrow than most, caused by the position of the mini kitchen parallel to the entry hall. The "closet" was a large shallow box with a curtain for a door. The large screen TV was positioned in such a way that the divider curtain split the screen visually; one has to pull the curtain back to get a clear view of the TV from either the couch or bed. The king-size bed was hard, but reasonably comfortable for the night. If compared to even the ubiquitous Hampton Inn, this Home2 Suites hotel felt spartan, more like Motel 6 than a Hilton hotel. Breakfast was included, but the components were split between the coupled Tru2 hotel and this one. The food was unappetizing, both in the way it was presented and the general lack of interest with which it was offered. It was essentially of Hampton Inn quality but lacked even the Hampton Inn layout. Location is excellent, right on the seawall and more or less centered along the island's Gulf beaches.

NillIt was a good stay. We drove in for 1 night, so we wouldn't have to drive the morning of the cruise. Location was really the best part of the stay. Rooms were mid. At the price point, I would have expected a little more from the room furnishings and bed/linens. A literal 2 min walk across the street to get to the beach and fishing pier. Didn't get a chance for breakfast, but it looked average. Again, for the price and having a Hilton in your name, i think you could step it up. I will happily pay a premium price when the accommodations match in value. Some amazing local shops and breathtaking photo ops are all within walking distance.

Nill(Only one thing I didn’t like.) I stayed at this hotel the night before my cruise. The hotel is just 8 minutes from the cruise port. I was given room 302, and I loved the view of the beach it was incredible. The room was spotless, everything was very clean. I really appreciated that the TV was a smart TV, so I could watch Netflix and YouTube. The person who attended me at the front desk was very kind, friendly, and helped me with an early check-in. I don’t remember her name, but it was on 11/30/24 at 1 p.m. If you see this, thank you. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was that at night there was a lot of noise from people walking in the hallway and the floors above us. The noise was very loud in our room, and my 4-year-old daughter was really scared because of it. She didn’t want to sleep and had a hard time falling asleep. Other than that, this is an amazing hotel, 100% recommended, and it will definitely be my go to hotel whenever I visit Galveston. Blessings!

NillThis place is fairly new and we had a great time as we only stayed for one night but the room was very clean and spacious with a view of the water and the staff were excellent and very friendly and very helpful. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and the breakfast in the morning was very delicious and better than almost Any other usual Hotel breakfast.

NillWas driving through and stayed at this hotel. I love these IHG properties. Confident they are clean, comfy, pleasant and efficient. This one has a water/gulf view. Lovely:) It appears fairly new too. Pets welcome with a dog fee. Great breakfast, quiet room, we had a water view with balcony. Has a large parking lot. We ate at a restaurant close by. It was very good!

NillI'm somewhat baffled by all the service reviews not up to standard, as I received the best service from Jessica and Melissa during my overnight stay! I did notice a difference in personality in one Employee in the AM, however that could have been an off day for them, otherwise, location is awesome actoss from beach, hotel is quiet and clean. Deducted a star only due to a hair in restroom, however spacious and clean for the most part! Computer and printers in lounge area, and the breakfast on both end of lobby was pretty decent! Kitchen staff stayed on hand to clean consistently! Great value for dollar!

★★★★★100% recommend for overnight or multiple night stay. We (2 adults/2 kids) spent the day at East Beach and were too tired and hungry to drive back to Houston. The front desk staff was very helpful with booking a 2 queen bed + Sofa Bed room with a view. The room was clean, spacious, had a full fridge, dishwasher, and fully stocked kitchenette. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We didn't come prepared for an overnight stay, so we appreciated the full size soaps, lotions, and numerous towels. The guest laundry room was also very clean and washed+dried a load in an hour. Also, the parking lot was a decent size and felt safe because it was well lit. The hot breakfast was a great bonus too. Will definitely be back!

★★★★★Stayed here the night before our cruise. This was a great experience. I loved the layout of the room for the Home2 side of the building. I liked the bar onsite and all the hang out space available on the ground floor. It's also a nice feature being on the sea wall and walking distance to various restaurants.
