Hotel Lucine

This charming hotel is fresh and clean with a retro beachfront feel. The lounge is a nice place to hang out with a drink. The rooms were spiffy clean and new-feeling with comfy beds. Some reviewers might mention that there's no carpet in the room but I think that's very practical for a beach front hotel were sand comes in all the time and where humidity can make things less fresh. You could tell it was clean.||The rooms have a minifridge with purchasable beverages and there's a little room for a few of your own things. Unlike some chain hotels, the rooms are not full of appliances like microwaves and refrigerator/freezer combos. However, it had everything WE needed. The balcony with chairs overlooking the courtyard an pool was very inviting.||The staff were very friendly and helpful. They obviously care about the place and are taking good care of it. The parking was fine altho we were off-season.

Stopped in to check out their rooftop patio and it did not disappoint! Beautiful views, and although it was a cool day on the Seawall, we felt comfortable sipping cocktails in the sun. Service at the bar was great, very friendly staff! Very quaint hotel, we look forward to staying here on a future trip!

Stayed here a night before a cruise and I cannot wait to come back. The entire staff was friendly, I loved the feeling of community and style the whole place conveyed. They are literally right across from the water with gorgeous rooftop views. We ordered dinner from The Den and you have to get their chocolate chip cookies. We also had brunch at Fancy, their other restaurant and would recommend that as well. Overall I wish every hotel was like this.

Cute place on Seawall of Galveston. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Great customer service, and sulfate free bath products. Heated pool is great also, lots of outside tables to hang out by the pool.||There’s a cooler of drinks to buy in the room, however I wished it were a refrigerator and microwave for our leftover meals. Free coffee 6-9am. |A good improvement would be to include breakfast!

From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel like they’ve been waiting for you. This is isn’t the kind of places that beats you over the head with how beautiful their hotel is or how great and friendly their staff are, but they could. ||It’s an old building that they somehow managed to refresh, while retaining the original charm. ||Have a drink at the bar, take a swim in the heated pool, and definitely have a great meal at The Fancy. (Thank you, Daya & Co.)||This is my new favorite hotel in America. Words cannot do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself.

Great hotel. Service is outstanding. Food is delicious. Complimentary coffee in the morning. Heated pool. Great vibes- decor is like Catch Me if You Can. Great entertainment at night in the patio which you can’t get in a normal hotel. Felt more like a rad b&b. Breakfast taco and granola parfait was amazing. Rooms are a little small but who cares. Towels are fluffy. Will be back.

Came here with my wife a few nights ago to celebrate our 10th anniversary and have a quick little romantic getaway. We got a Lucine King room and it was great. Nice size, clean, great decor, and a very comfortable bed. Price was reasonable. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at The Fancy, drinks from the hotel bar, and the great views at the rooftop bar upstairs. Breakfast here was also good. We will definitely return and maybe try a balcony room and try out the pool next time.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lucine. The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxed but polished. We didn't feel out of place in our travel clothes at the Fancy and were treated extremely well by all staff. We can't wait to return to this clean and comfortable hotel with fabulous style.
