We had an amazing stay at this pet-friendly hotel near the beach in Galveston! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—especially our pup, who was greeted with treats at check-in. Every staff member was incredibly friendly. The accommodations were perfect for traveling with a pet. Our studio room was spacious, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a good size fridge— ideal for keeping up with our raw feeding routine — stovetop and microwave, perfect for door dash and leftovers. Not to mention one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve had in awhile. The hotel also offers easy access to an incredibly large and well-maintained pet relief area, which was always clean and neatly trimmed. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, making strolls along the beach with our pup a breeze. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly stay in Galveston with top-notch amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be! We’ll definitely be back.

Loved our stay. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, which is a very rate find, at a very reasonable price. Front desk gentleman was extremely friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and well equipped. Instead of giving out mini bottles of toiletries, they have wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I actually appreciate since it's a bit more environmental friendly than throwing away/down cycling mini bottles after just a few nights of stay. The hotel room seems to have been updated somewhat recently so it's very clean and modern. Breakfast is standard, but food does get filled pretty quickly when certain items become empty. Overall I am very happy with our stay.

Giovanni was so cheerful—always smiling—and he gave top notch service! He immediately helped us to feel welcome and at home. He continued to take great care of us throughout our stay. Other staff members were also kind, professional, and caring. Furnishings have been updated. Housekeeping and cleanliness were excellent as well. Thank you for such a great stay!

This was our first visit to a TownPlace suites. The property looks great. Check in was good. Some of the desk folks we met later were not so helpful. The room was perfect. There is a mini kitchen with a nice size fridge. The mattress was great for sleeping. The view from the second floor looking south down the island has an ocean view. I did have some troubling getting bedding changed after four nights. I was told it was a long term stay hotel. I'm not sure what that means for bedding. Most people I met were pre or post cruise. The breakfast was extra good. Lots of good Buffett choices. The coffee was good and available 24/7. Over all I would stay there again.

From the time of check-in till the time we left, we absolutely loved everything about this hotel. I had read numerous reviews, on Tripadvisor, stating that Giovanni was the very best. I am here to tell you, he really is! Giovanni was so welcoming, at check-in. He gave my husband and I great recommendations of restaurants on the island and told us about all the amenities, that the hotel offers. ||Our room was clean and updated, had a wonderful view of the Gulf, and we never heard any noise from other hotel guests. ||The overall cleanliness of the hotel was immaculate! Every time we walked down the hallways or stepped on to the elevator, we could smell freshly cleaned floors. ||The pool was absolutely beautiful and was never crowded. It was a place we could truly relax and enjoy the sunshine. ||Now, the breakfast...||I have never seen a better selection of a free hot breakfast, like this! ||Each day was a new selection of eggs, meats, pancakes, and biscuits. Everything was piping hot! The toppings selection floored me. Walnuts, dried banana chips, coconut, strawberry compote, and fresh salsa, were some of my favorites. ||We have stayed at many hotels and resorts, over the years. I have to say that this hotel is our favorite and was the biggest bang for our buck.||Driving home, my husband and I both said that it was the most perfect stay.

We spend 3 Nights, and did not regret our visit. |The Rooms was clean Bed comfortable. Kitchen provided everything you need for preparing meals.|Everything was quiet, no noises from the nearby Road, the occasional Aircraft landing didn't bother at all.|WiFi was OK, sometimes a bit spooty, but still usable. Breakfast selection was OK, but they ran out of of Black tea and some other things, this should be improved by the Management.|Would not hesitate to come back.

This hotel deserves all the hype!!! I went down for my birthday and was not disappointed. Falina, who worked the front, was kind and got a room ready for us for early check-in. She called to let us know when it was ready. The room was adorable! A little kitchen, big comfy beds, a TV right in the center of the room, and a large closet space. We went straight to the pool because it is literally what makes this hotel even more special! The pool was one of the nicest hotel pools we'd ever been in. Clean, clear water, a water fall, and they had multiple clean restrooms you could use right by the pool! The only downfall with the hotel is the breakfast. The dining area is so small, and people posted a big continental styled breakfast, but that must be its sister hotel next door. Their breakfast here was a little basic, but it got the job done. Oh, and also, the Castaway Bar is seasonal, so it was closed during our visit. Besides that, we will absolutely be returning! Affordable hotel, great service, and a beautiful pool? Count us in!

The Good:||Looks it has been remodeled. Furniture in good condition. Bedding was comfortable. Free parking. Good breakfast items. Suite was clean and well appointed. Nice towels and in good shape. ||The Bad:||Dogs were present at the breakfast area. |Not a service dog by the way. |No complementary water for lifetime platinum members. ||Not a bad stay. Could use some more parking spots for platinum members.
