★★★★★This place is amazing. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are so professional and very friendly. Our room was perfect and well stocked. The breakfast was good and the eating area was very clean. The indoor pool was breathtaking. Over all this is hands down the best hotel I've stayed in. I will be back. And Baymount by Wyndham get my highest recommendation. I'm telling everybody I know. The best hotel experience I've ever had. Loved it!!

NillStaff not very friendly or helpful. Roaches in the room, window was open and bathroom floor was wet like had mopped it just before I checked in. TV wouldn't work,was given a text number for help, responded once but never offered anything else regarding roaches and TV not working! Breakfast area,was a bug in my cup of juice don't know if was in the actual juice or the cup itself,table was sticky,no TV was on. Windows were open in several rooms and in the pool area as well. Old bathtubs outside looking as if being used for gardening.

NillTERRIBLE!! Do not stay here!! Black mold all of the room. When I checked out I said something about it & the front desk said they had no manager on duty and couldn’t help me. To call back at 9, I did the manager told me that I should have said something and they would have refunded my room, well I did and there employees told me I had to wait for them!! I would NOT stay here. Save yourself some hassle. Then they wanna reply that they will give you your money back and you call and they tell you that they hire people to reply to these reviews and they will not give you your money back!!

★Positive: Everyday fresh towels were delivered, the trash was taken away and the bed was made. I haven?t experienced this level of service since pre COVID. Negative: Everything was exceptional in the hotel.

NillBUYER BEWARE should only cost 50 bucks.lI will never book ANY Wyndham again. I was going to say nothing was good... but I will give a little credit to the young man don't remember his name who helped out with the front desk. The other staff did not speak very clear English and I'm not saying that to be rude but it's just very difficult to communicate I don't speak their language and she was not even trying to understand. But he was nice and he did let me change my booking to only one night instead of three because if I would have stayed there three nights I may have run into oncoming traffic I'm not joking. That is the least they could do is let me only have to pay for the one night because of the cancellation policy and only endure 12 hours of this hell. Surprisingly there were no bed bugs that I know of or roaches or rats or any kind of absolute grossness it wasn't that dirty so the fact that it was still hell even though that was not the case says a lot. First of all the location is not great because Texas city has nothing to offer. The only reason I chose this hotel was because it was a halfway point between Galveston and Houston because I wanted to do things in both cities I will never make that mistake again trust me friends just book in Houston or in Galveston and make the drive the traffic and time spent will be worth it. Secondly the staff was rude did not speak clear English did not try to even understand me got frustrated with me and got someone else to help see above for the one young man that was good. I heard many other Hotel guests getting upset complaining to the front desk lady. I never saw a single person cleaning anything. There is junk in the front of the building there is junk in their Lobby there's junk in their pool area everything was junky it looked like someone was moving absolutely unacceptable for a hotel. The room was somewhat clean but I just felt dirty in there it was old nothing was renovated. The lighting was horrible the bed was not comfortable the pillows were not comfortable. The indoor pool and hot tub was the other only reason I booked this hotel and it was awful it was not clean the hot tub was not warm and it had so many chemicals in it that my son couldn't even stand to be in it. And lastly they didn't tell us that breakfast would end at 9:00 a.m. on a Friday morning and we only missed it by 2 minutes and they still wouldn't let us grab some things before they closed it up on top of that the coffee was horrible and all of the breakfast stuff looked gross it was just waffles and cereal all of it looked old and dated everything that they had there looked like it came from the 90s and has never been updated including the chairs tables waffle maker everything. It was just dirty everywhere in the hallways it smelled like weed everywhere it smelled like really bad gross food cooking and the lobby constantly if you look at the air vents they were covered in dust. They should be shut down!

NillThere were roaches in the room and bathroom and the best that was offered to me was bug spray and another room. Also I booked 2 days but didn’t stay neither night but wasn’t able to get my money back for the first night. We didn’t realize the issue until we got back to the room that night after checking in earlier that day. Wouldn’t recommend

Nill‼️BUGS BUGS BUGS‼️This was literally the most disgusting and disappointing hotel I've ever been in. We booked through booking.com that showed a rating of 7.4. We checked in at approximately 10pm and were given the room number 224 the second we opened the door we were hit in the face with a cloud of smoke as we exited the elevator. With our hands full of our luggage we opened our door, there were bugs running everywhere. They ran across the floor, I killed 2 in the doorway and my husband killed one as one ran across the bed. We immediately requested to be moved and were moved to a room near the elevator. ( I guess they thing bugs only stay in their rooms.) When I mentioned the smoke in a non smoking hotel she shrugged her shoulders and said it is non smoking but sometimes people smoke. The place should be condemned. And according to the sign out front they most likely rent by the hour.

NillLove this place clean no roaches quite and staff is beyond helpful, I really appreciate the front desk they even have drinks and snacks on hand. Definitely a get away that was well worth it.
