NillThe pool and hot tub were excellent. The room was ok for the price. The nicest person there was the housekeeper. The bald manager was a nightmare and so was the wife. Extremely rude for no reason but their own. They should seek a career outside of hospitality or learn what it means. Breakfast was ok. Located near HEB, near the expressway made it convenient.

NillDO NOT BOOK HERE! The most disgusting room and hotel we have ever experienced. Added bonus, the owner is rude AF! Upon arrival there was musty stench emulating from our room. Our bed sheets were damp. When we received new sheets WE had to remake the bed and the new sheets had stains on them. Eventually we got “clean” sheets. The shower curtain is being held together with a rusty safety pin. We chose to purchase Lysol and Lysol wipes to wipe down the main living area for peace of mind. The door frame was loose and the walls and doors were visibly dirty. The toilet did not flush very well and would make loud noises when flushed. When we asked for more towels, the owner made attempts to argue with us about why we shouldn’t need towels and that there were too many towels in the room. He also kept try to tell us we had 9 towels in the room already when we only had three upon arrival and just needed three more to bath again the next night. The saving grace of this all was the greeter which was a giant spider chilling on the wall in the front entrance doorway.

NillThe first impression was the awful smell. It wasn't sewage, but pungent nonetheless. Had a fish tank in the lobby that was filthy and depressing. The air ducts in the ceilings were rusty. The next morning, while getting me and my wife some (weak) coffee from the poorly tended "breakfast bar" (I can barely type this without SMH), The lady at the counter was giving me the side-eye as if I was stealing something. I asked if everything was ok, and she asked if I had checked out yet. I told her that our reservation was for two days. She told me that I needed to pay for the second night right then. "Ummm...we did last night, check your records." She insisted "You pay credit card now" three separate times as I reminded her to check her system. She finally relented and I was now free to bring my wife her now lukewarm coffee. The real shame of it all is that it appears to have been a nice facility at one time, but the owners are not good at the maintenance and hospitality part of owning a hotel. The beds were comfortable though, so there is that...

NillDon’t stay here. 1 star is too many for this place. Incredibly unsanitary, bugs on the beds, smells awful, stained towels and sheets, 10-12 dirty mattresses piled in the lobby. The owner refuses to refund the money pushing it off on the booking site…then refused it through the site. Said the room was not in the condition we stated. I have never felt more disgusting being in a room. Rude and terrible business. Worst experience ever. Owner didn’t even try to make things better. Exterior is falling apart as well. It’s beyond disgusting.

NillStayed here for a 3 day trip to Galveston. The double queen rooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 kiddos. Can’t beat the price. It’s located in a quiet location that doesn’t have any foot traffic. Just 20 minutes from the beach. I would stay again.

NillWorst experience ever!!!!! Walked in and the hotel smelled like garbage. They had dirty mattresses piled up in the lobby. Went upstairs and checked our room and found bugs in the bed and stains on the sheets. Towels in the bathroom also had stains on them. Went downstairs and spoke with the owner about the issue and he refused to do anything about or offer another room. He refused to give us a refund. Had to find another hotel nearby. Don’t waist your money going to this dump. I don’t have a choice to give no stars but if I could this place would get zero stars.

NillI booked last minute, and at such a low price I thought it would be a dive, but was pleasantly surprised. The man and woman I dealt with during my 2 night stay were very helpful and friendly. The pool & hot tub are a great bonus. Furniture is a little dated, but kept very clean and nice. It's like staying over at a friend's house.
