NillWe made reservations for our stay. It appeared that they are still up and running with new management. Our requests were met and staff was kind and helpful throughout. The hot tub and pool waters were warm. We enjoyed the peacefulness of our stay on our small family getaway. Our visit there went smoothly. I will be happy to visit with pacific sunrise suites again!

NillPlease be cautious of this hotel if you or your loved ones are disabled. My mother is a wheelchair user and booked an accessible room for us on our girl's trip that would accommodate her needs. She even got a phone call after booking confirming she would be in an accessible room on the ground level. When we arrived she was confused to see that they had placed us in a room on the 3rd floor and asked to confirm if it was the accessible room she booked. The two employees spent several minutes looking at their computers before simply replying "you're in this room". Unfortunately the room they placed us in was NOT accessible. While other rooms around us were labeled as accessible, ours was not. The bathroom included a tub, no shower chair or bench, no grab bars near the toilet, and the lowest toilet I've ever seen. We came back to mention that this room was not accessible and the man at the desk (not wearing a name tag, otherwise I would say his name) did not apologize or attempt to make any reparations, just flatly stated that the accessible rooms were taken. It was very offputting that they hadn't told us they messed up to begin with, and just hoped we wouldn't notice. This was disappointing as my mom was not able to shower at all during our vacation and had a very difficult time transferring to/from the toilet. Due to their callous response to this mistake, we will not be returning on our annual trips to ocean shores. And yes, the hot tub is still broken.

NillCouldn't have had a better stay, even though it was only one night. No odors, even in the "pet friendly" room we had. Extremely comfortable beds. Room, including bathroom, was super clean. Quiet, close to ocean access, close to Bennett's Fish Shack (our favorite), good security features, staff very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't call small wrapped muffins "pastry" (which we were told would be in the lobby 7:30 to 9:30), but we were going out for breakfast anyway. We would definitely stay here again.

NillTL;DR - Don't stay here, avoid at all costs!! Review below. A nightmare from the start. Firstly, thank goodness for google maps as there is no sign with their name on it. There is a sign in the front that says "We're Open" but that sign is right under the Logo for Ocean Grill which is ironically closed. When I went to check-in, I was not given the room I was promised. I had been upgraded to an Ocean View King but was given a Queen room with a view of the out of business hotel next door and the trash behind it. The other side of my view was the hotel wall. When I asked the check in clerk regarding the room, she said she had no idea about the upgrade and would have to call her manager but that was after I checked in to the Queen room and I never heard back. The room was average at best. Fan in the bathroom didn't work. Contrary to other reviews, the TV did work, but it was setup incorrectly and I had to rewire it. I could see how anybody that isn't into tech would have issues with the tv. The other reviews are correct that the shower curtain is way to short. I had to put towels on the floor as it was soaked. Pretty sure there was a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling. That or someone burnt a giant round patch in it. The worst part overall is the noise level. Reviewers are correct that the walls are paper thin. I could not only hear my neighbors conversation word for word as well as their tv, but the walls were so thin that I am about to type something I never have and never thought I would have to. The walls were so thin, that I could actually hear my neighbor fart...not blasters by any means...just regular farts. It was disgusting. They list breakfast being served from 7:30-9:30. I went down to get it at 8:25 and there was already nothing left. At checkout, I did speak with one friendly employee at the desk though and was telling him part of my story and it looked like he did feel bad. He told me that there was a note on my account showing the room upgrade so he was not sure why I wasn't checked in to the correct room. A bit late, but at least one nice employee. If you are thinking of visiting Ocean Shores, I highly recommend it. I have been visiting for ten years and never had an issue until this trip. It is one of my top three getaway spots in all of Washington. I have stayed at most of the resorts along the water and they have all been great. Avoid staying at this place at all costs. I have never been so disappointed with an Ocean Shores resort.

NillIt was an awful experience all around. My dog got hurt right before I left home and since they wouldn't let me cancel my first night I told them I would be arriving very early in the AM in that case because I was already in line for the ER vet with a 4-6 hour wait. They said they would charge my card and check me in since their lobby closed at 11pm. I just had to call the number on the lobby door to be let in. NOT!! I showed up at 5 am after being up all night, driving all over for the vet and then to get there and NOBODY ANSWERED THE NUMBER!!! I was too tired to drive back home at that point so all I could do is keep calling. My kids and I couldn't sleep in the car it was too crowded and nothing in Ocean Shores is open that early so we couldn't even go eat breakfast. We had to sit in the car and wait for the lobby to open at 7. Well nobody showed up at 7 even!!!! I had been calling for 2 hours leaving messages and finally at 730 someone answered said they would send someone to let us in. Then we got a room that did not have queen beds, they were full. They didn't even match the headboard stuck to the wall. We only got one key, the beds were hard, and the bathroom floor was sticky and there was already a hair in the tub. Housekeeping is by request only so they don't come clean your room or give you more shampoo or towels automatically. I had to go to the front desk for more TP and shampoo. I was super disappointed because we must have got the last room because our window was a joke. Our room was small and the window was off to the side. The walls are very thin too. Overall not being able to go to bed till after 8am meant my sleep hours were messed up and i missed almost everything I went to do that weekend. I asked for a partial refund for just that night since i didn't even have access to my room until after 8am, a room i already paid for, but they haven't replied to my email 2 weeks later. I will NEVER stay there again. Ruined my weekend.

NillBEWARE We took 5 of our kids swimming in their pool, after about an hour a few of my kids were coughing pretty hard. The pool had a strong chlorine smell. One of my kids was coughing/wheezing so bad that night I almost left our vacation and headed to the ER. We have used chlorine pools before and have never had an issue. I was SO scared. The next day we decided to take two of the kids to Mary Bridge. The "chlorine" cough finally did get out of their system but it was such a scary and unnecessary experience. The front desk told us that morning they did a "deep clean" of the pool and they might have got "carried away" with the chemicals. This is completely unacceptable. I will be calling the local health department and I will never take my family here again. I'm telling you, find another hotel, it is not worth the risk.

★★★The most positive thing about this "Inn", is that the employees were very polite. It's too bad that they don't wear name tags so they can be acknowledged for it. You will miss this place if you are not paying attention to the sign next to the road (a weathered, crackling mess because there is no sign over the entrance to the building to identify it. I made my reservation in January and had read the reviews about TV problems...I would have thought by mid May that all would be fixed...NO. Ridiculous to get a channel and once you get it, it doesn't last long. This was a big disappointment, having a young grandchild with us on a rainy day. Upon check in, I inquired about the coffee and "pastries" for in the morning....I was told that there would be muffins " if the shipment comes in"! The shipment came in, but these are very small and be first in line, because there isn't many.|I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that the pool was so warm...that was great but what a let down when we wanted to use the hot tube that was cold! They should at least put a sign up indicating that. |The room was adequate size and very clean....they are very skimpy with soap...they are the size of quarters ...1 for the shower and 1 for the sink! Having never been to Ocean Shores before, I booked too far ahead and I know that I overpaid for what I got...

NillI just recently stayed there 2/23-2/27 when I came down to see my grandma on hospice. Orbitz had overbooked their rooms but they were still not only able to squeeze me in the night I got there but helped me extend my stay at the last minute. The two ladies who helped me were very accommodating and I couldn't of asked for a better staff. I'm sorry I didn't catch either of your names but if you see this Thank you again! The rooms were nice clean and it was quiet and peaceful there.
