Weatherly Inn

We had a wonderful time at Weatherly! We stayed 09/13-09/15/2013. They were wonderful about rescheduling our time there, (we had originally scheduled the week before but my hubby had a cold and they did not charge us a fee and they were great about it!) Upon arrival, we were given some Complimentary coupons at another hotel nearby for use of their pool/spa and a discount at their restaurant, which I thought was very nice. The unit was very clean, had a lovely fireplace and all the amenities. We did not get a chance to use the jacuzzi but can't wait to on our next visit! It was really nice to get a morning paper every morning and the beach was just steps away. We were nicely surprised that it was nice and quiet, made for a wonderful vacation! Good job Weatherly Inn Staff! We will be back!

I booked the room with the hot tub located in the living room area which was nice. When we arrived we went to the office and the lady was very nice and helpful. The room that we stayed in had Seahawk stuff in it hanging on the walls. The room itself needs to be updated really bad. The towels had holes in them and should have never been in the room in the first place. None of the heaters worked and it was pretty cold in there. I didn't really want to sit on the couch because frankly it looked pretty dirty. The bathroom had streaks of nicotine on the walls. The shower didn't drain so when you took a shower it was like you were in a tub filling with water. The hot tub didn't keep the water warm/hot since once you put the hot water in it, it goes cold because no heater pump in it. This was supposed to be a special weekend for my husband and I since we were celebrating our 25 year anniversary. I won't be going back.

We found an open room here on a last minute, busy Razor clam dig weekend. We were really happy that it had a kitchen for cooking and that we could bring both of our dogs. It is a very old property but clean and perfect for the beach. Our bed and bedroom were huge and there is a jacuzzi tub right in the living room behind the couch. We stayed in room #13. I also liked that all rooms are ground level with slider doors to take the dogs out. We would consider this place again.

The location is this places best selling point. It is very close to the beach and has an attached shop and the outside property is nice but the rooms are very outdated and somewhat musty smelling. We had to pick up some airfreshner spray to cover up the smell. The cool thing is all the rooms are the same price so if you get one with a big soaking tub, you lucked out. My son was able to swim in it. Since you are essentially steps from the beach, it is easy to overlook all that as my family and I did and they were able to accommodate our 3 small dogs. We made use of the kitchenette as well which was a plus. If they updated the place, it would be so much better but if they are always sold out and have high rates, I guess there is no reason to. Funny thing is we would stay there again since we did enjoy ourselves. hahaha

Quaint, clean, and cozy. The room we booked was a king suite with the jet tub jacuzzi. Which is almost the size of a small pool. Lol. The room we were informed had just been remolded with new floors, which gave it a little updated feel. However, a couple throw rugs would've been nice as the floors are very cold in the early morning. The room had a small fireplace, and a sofabed (be careful though it was broken and tipped back as we were getting comfortable to watch a show) We would've enjoyed our stay a little more if we could've seen the ocean. The shrubbery fence has blocked the view, but the Inn is within walking distance so we could hear the waves. There is a huge floor to ceiling glass door and windows. Beautiful view looking towards the direction of the ocean.We couldn't leave the sliding doors open though or the seagulls and young deer may have joined us for dinner in the room as there isn't a screen. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The front desk is extremely kind and helpful. Always willing to bring more towels, coffee, toiletries. There's a cool gift shop next door full of beach themed souvenirs and apparel and a must try pizza parlor across the street.

Love this place. Has a jacuzzi hot tub, living room with couch, stocked kitchen with pots pans, dishes and silverware along with a mini fridge and a king size bed in a separate room. Really close to the water too. We come out here every year for Bikers on the Beach and it’s awesome we can park our Harleys on our back patio. Really friendly wildlife hangs out being the complex. Nice fire pit on the side.

The first room we were out in was freezing cold. After realizing the heater wasn't working the hotel put us in a new (better) room free of charge. The over all experience was great. There was a nice Jacuzzi in the room and a full kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here last year on recommendation of a buddy. We had adjoining suites. Both suites have spacious porches that we used to set up our barbecue grills. The jacuzzi tub in the room is huge and relaxing. Great fireplaces.Nice quiet space to relax in. I am coming back in a few weeks for some more R & R.
