Hyatt Place Madison/Downtown

The hotel is very nice. It’s clean and quiet. The free breakfasts each morning are good. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Every person who worked there that we met was wonderful. The person who we ran into most often was Sam, she went above and beyond.

Stayed at the hotel for 8 nights to visit with nearby family. Everything is walkable from the hotel. Really enjoyed the pleasant desk staff...especially the greeting when we returned to the hotel each time. Breakfast was very good but got a little monotonous after 8 days (not their fault). This hotel has a very reasonable pet policy and fee structure. Excellent coffee every morning!

Nice hotel, breakfast was fine and rooms were clean. Pool was decent. ||||My biggest complaint was that the rooms were too hot and we all had trouble sleeping. The thermostat would only go down to 65 degrees and the windows don't open so we couldn't crack a window to cool things down.

Great hotel. Has been refurbished to high standards. Room layout excellent with every power socket you would ever need and well placed. Friendly staff and the breakfast buffet beat expectations and was above average. Location is central easy walking distance to downtown locations. Will stay again.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good soundproofing between rooms. Only heard people in the hallway once. Great staff. Nice lobby and breakfast area. The perfect location for running the Madison Marathon. Will definitely return. I did not use the pool area or fitness center, but it looked nice.

Super friendly staff, made us feel right at home. Clean and spacious rooms and the hotel was pet friendly which was a bonus. Loved the location and the hotel staff had great recommendations. Plus they had a light menu for when we checked in for room service....perfect and not overpriced. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic one-night stay at this hotel. A few days before checking in, I received an email from the hotel detailing construction that would impact my ability to reach the hotel; it included clear and easy‐to-follow directions on how to navigate to the parking garage. I appreciated this so much. Check-in was a breeze, and Liz was welcoming and informative. We were upgraded to a high-floor king room (Explorist benefit) and found the space to be large, comfortable, and well-furnished. The location of the hotel is ideal, just a short walk from bars and restaurants. The included breakfast was very good. We were very impressed with our stay and would absolutely book this hotel again if we were in the area.

Stayed with two of my sisters for a night before they flew back home. Nice hotel, very conveniently located in downtown Madison. Room was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. I’ve stayed here before and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
