Embassy Suites by Hilton Madison Downtown

The stay was great until check out when we had to wait ONE HOUR to get our car from valet (the only parking option available), when they had told us upon check in to expect 15 minutes. If they had just given us accurate information, we would have planned accordingly. (Staffing appropriately wouldn’t hurt either.) After our stay, management was responsive and apologetic, so I’ve added a star and will share about other aspects of our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was a hot chocolate station in the lobby, which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty good; the made-to-order eggs being the standout highlight. The evening front desk staff person was friendly and welcoming. The morning front desk staff were, however, frustratingly indifferent to the valet situation. For its location right in the heart of Madison (which was important to us when we made our choice of hotel) this place was the best value when factoring in room rates, parking, and the included breakfast.

I usually stay at the Hilton property across the street, however, decided to change things up and I don’t regret it at all. I stayed here for a night with friends and it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had and I travel a lot for work. This hotel is in an amazing walkable location with great customer service, amenities, rooms, and the breakfast was the best I’ve had, there was a multitude of options and everything was fresh. Parking with valet was a breeze. Check-in with Javier and Will was a great experience, they were professional, personable, kind, and gave recommendations for the area, my friends and I felt welcomed and good after each interaction and we typically don’t think twice about typical room check-ins. The bartenders and breakfast attendants were kind and attentive as well! When traveling to Madison, this will be the hotel I will continue to choose!

Our recent stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton, Madison Downtown was a very pleasant experience. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was spacious and had an expansive space like a sitting room with a couch and an extra TV which our kids enjoyed a lot. The attention to detail was impressive and there were some small technical touches in the room as well such as a wireless charger and automated blinds controlled with the touch of a button. We were offered complimentary drinks at the bar in the evenings which was quite nice. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh and tasty options (the lemon poppy seed cake was delicious), and we all enjoyed our omelettes that were made to order. I also used the gym with brand new equipment and Peloton bikes. All in all we enjoyed the whole experience in our first trip to Madison and we will definitely pick this hotel again when we come back.

This hotel opened a few days prior to my stay - but I was happy with everything. I come to Madison numerous times a year for a week at a time. And this is my new place to stay. Everyone on staff was very nice and willing to help or answer any questions.||Location: is great - just one block from the square. ||Lobby store: It is nice to have a lobby store that offers some snacks or types of food options that one could grab for lunch. Also offers ice cream, candy, chips, soda, wine, beer and some Wisconsin souvenirs to take home.||Gym: This is fantastic. Plenty of room to workout, multiple treadmills, row machine, elliptical, 3 Peloton bikes, free weights and 3 machine weights. Also had a water bottle refill station and restroom. Super clean.||Bar/Lounge: There is a guest reception in the evening with some snacks and drink specials. Bartenders are very polite and nice to chat with.||Breakfast: Bacon, eggs, potatoes, French toast, turkey sausage, fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, toast and bagels. As well as a chef to cook a made to order omelet. ||Valet: $35/night - and staff was very nice and quick. I have been there on slow times (middle of week) and busy time (during the Ironman race) and the wait wasn't bad. They have a texting option that you can request your car and they give you a time frame of when it will be available.||BEST ROOM - if you can get room 945! Top floor in corner. Any room in the corner is nice.

Fantastic new hotel in great downtown location. Very convenient walk to a lot of bars and restaurants. We enjoyed everything about the hotel, except the valet took over 30 minutes to get our car. The bed was very comfortable, nice views, and a great breakfast. Would highly recommend!

This property is modern, newly constructed, clean, bright, and very comfortable. Parking is easy enough, with a 35$ valet (not free for diamond members) and then a very short walk to the registration desk. The elevators are extremely convenient, and the lounge and bar area very modern. The rooms have advanced window shades, a comfortable little seating area, and plenty of space. The free breakfast starts at 0700 on weekends and is very well stocked with a good verities of foods and drinks.

Stayed for business this weekend upper floor and WOW! Sparkling Embassy Suite and they REALLY are doing customers well! Standard two room suite, but positioned in a different way and REALLY works. Warm and inviting with all of the extras! Beds are firm, but soft for comfortable. Beautiful facility, rooms, halls, restaurant, EVERYTHING. All new of course, but WOW! Staff are very welcoming, serviced room each day (WOW!), breakfast includes essentially anything you could want, Vallet's are responsive and friendly. Totally reasonable pricing for a FIRST CLASS stay in Madison!

I stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel. It is within walking distance of anything you need and great bars/restaurants.The complimentary omelets made to order were excellent and the happy hour was great. The bed was comfortable and sheets smelled fresh. The small gym has decent equipment and a filtered water Machine. I also enjoyed having Netflix to login to. My only complaint is that the espresso machine was broken the entire time and this was disappointing. It would be nice to have a backup in the breakfast area since they only offer regular coffee. Aside from that I would stay here again.
