Beautiful property and clean rooms. I forgot my coat in the closet and didn’t realize it until a few days after I checked out. The manager generously offered to cover the cost of shipping it back to me. Great customer service!

Maybe the worst service I ever had. Pretty unfriendly front desk stuff but Maria. The didn’t explain anything to us, no directions, no wifi, no what’s included. Just they asked for 75$ for incidentals. Next day they informed we had no breakfast. It seems the should had provided a voucher for the breakfast. One per day. The first day they didn’t do it no information. Once again. Since the room wasn’t cleaned the second day even when we ask for the maid service (the lady came about 90 minutes afterwards) we requested the 3rd day for the cleaning service as we were leaving. A guy so unfriendly and impolite said they don’t do cleaning on request. Sorry but I work in a hotel and it’s the biggest lie and lack of professionalism I’ve ever seen. We requested for the shuttle for the last day: shuttle is only available from 7 am. And we were leaving at 6:45…too early for them. We agreed with the stuff from reception to have a lunch box for breakfast by 6:30, we talked with 2 employees to have it confirmed. The last day at 6:30 nobody had mention 2 lunch boxes had to be prepared for us and they had to do it quickly last minute. Only the lady from the breakfast room called Trish I think and a guy from Filipinas also from the restaurant were friendly and kind and willing to provide the best service. One of the worst services I have ever experienced.

The hotel itself is decent enough. The view of the lake is beautiful. The room we had was fine. No visible issues with cleanliness. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is small but functional. Just a few tweaks and would be much better. The heating/cooling unit is awfully loud to the point where you could not hear anything else or sleep. That needs to be fixed ASAP. While the hotel is dog friendly, there are a lot of people who do not own pets. To that end, the restaurant is small and seating is tight. Consider a different seating arrangement or separate area for pet owners who want their pets in a restaurant vs those of us who don’t want to eat with the animals at or under the table. Customer service is my biggest issue with this location. Upon checking in there were two workers responsible for the front desk. They both seemed very disinterested in answering basic questions. They were more concerned with sitting by the fire place and engaging in personal conversations. As soon as they rudely answered a question about parking they both rushed to the fireplace and sat down. That was odd. I encountered one of the same workers on Thanksgiving. I asked him if he knew if anything was open or delivered in the area. He told me to use an uber app in the same short and dismissive way as if he did not want to be bothered. Again as he was engaged in a social conversation with his peer. Perhaps retraining is in order. Otherwise good location, shopping and food options nearby. Breakfast at hotel restaurant was good. Would stay again.

Positive: Great location with a beautiful view. Negative: The beds are very hard, the air conditioner didn?t work and seemed like was stuck in fan mode. The phone in the room did not work. There where two tvs in our room and one was missing a remote.

The view is great, I wish I had more time to explore the area but I had an early flight out the next morning. . I ate a late dinner at their restaurant, resonably price, my entrée was $20. The front desk and waitress were great! I got a very good deal on my stay, off season, Sunday night after Christmas. The room was much better than I expected, so glad I booked here.

Quick in-and-out one-night stay here. No perks for Diamond members. Room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, although the AC unit was terribly loud (had to turn it off to sleep). Gym was functional. Tiny pool, but the hot tub was nice. Late dinner in the hotel restaurant was surprisingly decent.

Stayed here earlier this month for 1 night for work. Clean and quiet rooms, good service and nice and central location. Parking available in garage below hotel. Breakfast is a la carte. Didn't use any of the other facilities.

Overall very nice hotel in excellent location - close to all Madison attractions but still in a quiet part of town so as to not have late night noise. Breakfast was excellent - fair prices and very attentive servers. Impressed that front desk reception offer guests waiting to check in a cold bottle of water on a very hot day. Room comfortable. Would have been a 5 star rating if our room service wasn't missed on first night ( of 3) in spite of being out of the room from 9:00Am to 4:00 PM.
