Mansion Hill Inn

We enjoyed a long weekend at the charming Mansion Hill Inn. The staff was superb! They were unfailingly polite and helpful. They even cleaned the snow off our car each morning. Truly above and beyond. The provided breakfast was also fantastic. Local bread and pastries that are delivered each morning. The bed was comfy and cozy the bathroom was large and well-appointed. The building itself was a delightful old gem. Easy walk to the main square downtown, even in the snow and slush of winter. Staff provided several excellent recommendations on places for lunch and dinner nearby.

A gorgeous Inn with a staff that is so attentive. The team made us feel at home, tho we had not been there in a dozen years or so. Nicole was awesome when our meal did not arrive from Dominoes (big snow storm, could make our reservations at Quivey's Grove) and went to work putting together a quick meal. Rooms are a bit small, but very quiet and comfy.

My fiancé and I were visiting Madison from Cincinnati. The location is superb with option of street parking or very affordable valet service. The staff deserve a 10 out of 10. Their recommendations for restaurants, site seeing, and ‘must-do’s’ were spot on. As if being greeted with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies wasn’t wonderful enough, we promptly received cold champagne. The rooms are beautiful and the hotel is so peaceful. This hotel and the astounding staff made our weekend trip remarkable.

If you are a lucky traveler, occasionally you will find special place that is SO special that you don’t want to tell anyone else about it. Mansion Hill Inn is one of those rare places. The employees were nice and helpful. The building is just amazing - Romanesque architecture at its finest. Our room was very special with ample room. Our huge bathroom was filled with fine French toiletries and even had a heated floor. The bed and sheets were the NICEST we have ever slept in - bar none. You won’t want to get out of the bed! Seriously! The breakfast goodies were locally made baked goods and were exceptionally delicious. We are absolutely coming back here and would like to make it a yearly tradition. Only two hours from home, but felt like a European vacation getaway! Well done!!!

The Mansion Hill Inn is a stunning place to stay. Our room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Every staff member we interacted with was knowledgeable and pleasant. We would be happy to stay here again!

Wonderful historic hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and always good for a chat, the location is super central, and the inn has bits of interesting history hidden throughout! Thank you for the delightful stay :)

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and the Mansion Hill Inn exceeded our expectations. The quality and curation that goes into everything from the common space furniture to the breakfast offerings, makes this well worth your time & money. But what sets them apart is the hospitality of the staff and their knowledge of the city, and the proximity to downtown allows you to walk to so many attractions in Madison. We will definitely be staying again!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The restoration of this historic mansion was just about perfect. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Need a reservation at a top notch restaurant? I just mentioned it and it was taken care of for us. They had a Uber driver waiting for us right on schedule. Excellent recommendations. An experience to be remembered. Top notch
