NillI stayed at Quality Inn Madison West for 11 days and had a positive experience overall. It's a cost-effective option with a good location – many grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was comfortable, and the heater worked really well, which was great for the cold weather. The gym is small, so it might not be frequently used, but it's a nice addition for those who want to exercise. They also offer complimentary breakfast, which was convenient. However, I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they serve the same breakfast menu every day, which got a bit repetitive. I noticed that a few other reviews mentioned this as well, so I’m not sure why they haven’t varied the breakfast options. As for amenities, they provide the essentials like shampoo, lotion, and tissues, but they do not include a toothpaste kit. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable hotel in the area.

NillOne of the mattress' I slept in gave me bed bugs. Luckily I noticed and took care of it before contamination of my household. Not a bad place for a budget, but lord please hire an exterminator. It's a nice place, but infested. At least mine was. Before I found that out I thought this place was awesome for the price; Now I see why.

NillI booked (3) rooms here for our company and the service was below standard. I guess I should not expect much coming from a quality in, but I still think that respect is the bare minimum and should be expected. When I called to receive itemized receipts for our rooms, the guy was nothing but disrespectful. I am a very understanding person, especially being that I worked in the hotel industry for (5) years, but this guy continued to laugh over the phone, put me on 'hold' and then talk rudely while the phone was not up to his ear, and told me I was wasting mine and his time. It is safe to say this company will not be getting business from us again. Kindness goes along way and this hotel does not have much of it.

NillHonestly the location was fantastic. Also the price for what paid was good too. Only thing we really had issues with was the cleanliness of the room. We didn’t know if we should be breathing the air put out from the ac unit. It was disgusting and looked moldy almost. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower head was coming off the wall, the pipe leaked, the tub itself was yellow from the leak and there was a bar of soap left from a previous patron in the shower. However, it was cheap and we felt like it was good price for what we got. We’d probably look somewhere else though if we returned to Madison.

NillThis place is way better than it use to be. However, with the oeuvre being charged now that they are a quality inn, they need to upgrade the rooms. They are old. Microwave barely would heat anything up. The ac didn’t work and shot out warm air during temps of 90 degrees outside. The website said pet friendly and then didn’t allow cats when I got there. There were shifty people there all hours of the night in the parking lot. Fighting across the hall from me with doors being slammed constantly. I was glad to get out of there.

NillOur stay here was very disappointing. Needed a hotel for graduation weekend in Madison with few openings so we opted for this one. I’m ok with basic and even a little dated or in need of small repairs/upgrades, but this place was dirty. Our room was not cleaned/not cleaned well before we checked in. The bed was made but there was hair in the shower (wall and drain), dirty towels (pictured), and a large amount of crumbs on the floor. The comforter was dirty or stained. When we told the front desk the next day that we hoped our room could be vacuumed and the crumbs and hair that weren’t ours could be removed, the response was “you’re on the list” for cleaning today. It made it seem like we hadn’t been on the full cleaning list before we checked in? The response was odd. The place is just very run down and the room turn overs are simply not up to most people’s standards of cleanliness. The pillows are also weirdly small. Most staff we interacted with were polite. The location was good for us. I just cannot recommend this place to anyone.

NillWas more updated than most quality inns. Room was clean. Missing handle on dresser. Breakfast needs improving.

NillI dont like giving bad reviews, but this is the honest truth. I booked it last minute for an unplanned family get-together. This hotel is what it is for the price. You get what you pay for, I guess. Dirty tub, overflowing trash cans outside front entrance, stained sheets and cover, thin pillows, the washer left my clothes dank, and the breakfast food was mediocre at best. I wasn't there much, so I tolerated. The best part was the excellent service at the front desk - I wish I could remember the name of the lady who was so apologetic, friendly and helpful. Did her best to make it better.
