Stewart Inn

The beautiful Stewart House is highly recommended for your next stay in Wausau. Architecture is beautiful, and exquisitely maintained. We were warmly greeted at the front door by the owner, Randy. He provided a wonderful overview of the mansion and then invited us to the main parlor at 5:00 for wine, where we met others and had great conversation. The room accommodations are well appointed and very comfortable, we even had a fireplace to enjoy. In the morning, we were spoiled with a delicious three course breakfast; we felt very spoiled and appreciated as a guest. We will definitely return on our next Wausau visit! Thank you.

Our five night stay at the Stewart Inn was beyond amazing. The steam showers were super fantastic along with the comfortable bed and room amenities. Randy and Sarah were excellent hosts, attending to all our needs and then some. You will not want to miss the breakfasts each morning. Such delicious food and such a treat! We can’t recommend the Stewart Inn highly enough and hope to return another time!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Stewart Inn this weekend. Everything exceeded our expectations and we were very pleased. Expect amazing 3 course breakfast every morning @ 8:30 am made by Randy and his lovely wife Sara. They have a dog named Buster who is the CGO (Chief greeting officer) and he is so gentle and loves to be pet. The rooms are very cozy and appealing. The history of this home is outstanding. It felt like we were guests in a home rather than a hotel experience! Randy has a humor that is unique and is a very nice guy. (We loved randy) and overall will definitely be back. This stay is perfect for couples or older crowds who enjoy a nice bed and breakfast. 100000/10 will recommend !!!

The Stewart Inn was the perfect place for our wedding guests to stay, and they had the best time during their visit! Randy’s service was absolutely impeccable—he went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of. Every morning, Randy prepared the most delicious breakfasts that our guests are still raving about. The inn itself is beautiful, with such a charming and elegant atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home. It was the perfect spot for our friends and family to relax and enjoy their time in Wausau. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so grateful for Randy and the Stewart Inn for making our guests feel so special!

Beautiful historic building, gorgeous room with claw-foot tub and steam shower, and the most amazing breakfast I think I’ve ever had at a B&B. Randy and Sara were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed being greeted by Buster (canine director of hospitality), too. Cannot recommend the Stewart Inn highly enough.

Our stay at the Stewart Inn was delightful. The architecture of the home was beautiful and the rooms very upscale. Being a Bed &Breakfast we were served a delicious breakfast. The hospitality was incredible as they shared shopping and restaurant recommendations that were walking distance from the B&B. This is a must stay if traveling to Wausau.

We were looking for a place to settle in because the weather we were approaching was nasty. We "stumbled" into the Stewart Inn B & B.|It turned out to be one of our best stays ever starting with Randy the Innkeeper. He greeted us, gave us a tour of the home, showed us to a fabulous room, served us complimentary wine, sent us to a great restaurant and insisted on preparing breakfast for us in the morning even though it was much earlier than the normal breakfast hour. We were on our way quite early this morning but will be back as will our friends.

Was truly an enjoyable weekend, room was great as well as breakfast. Randy (host) was great and knew the area restaurants and things to do. Will be going back the next time we go to Wausau. All the other couples there the same weekend have been there multiple times which says it all.
