Grizzly Inn

I stayed one night and was happy with my experience. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The layout of the bathroom was a bit odd in that it was almost as big as the bedroom itself, but it got the job done. Not a fan of laminate flooring in hotel rooms, but that's just personal preference. Would stay again, especially for the price!

Very polite at the front desk! The price was good and they allow pets- a major plus for me. The bed was the comfiest we had in two weeks of travelling. The rooms are super dated and the hotel itself needs updating - that's the only thing keeping me from leaving five stars. If you need a friendly place to stay on a budget - I heavily recommend giving Grizzly a try.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever come across! The front desk staff-particularly Danielle-is extremely rude for no apparent reason. When I came in to book a room for one night after just getting out of the hospital, she told me that I was not able to stay at the facility but refused to give me a reason as to why. I've only stayed here one other time before, & didn't cause any trouble & was very quiet throughout my stay so I haven't the slightest clue as to why I am on a list to not be allowed to stay here. Fast forward almost a year later, my boyfriend went to visit with a friend who was staying here, & was only there for a maximum of 10 minutes, Danielle came to the room & told him that he needed to "get out" but again, gave no reason as to why. There was no excessive noise or anything like that, so for us to be treated so poorly is uncalled for! I'm honestly surprised that she still has a job here after being so rude! After looking at other reviews, it seems like we're not the only ones who have had the unfortunate timing of coming across her either! If you're looking to stay in a nice hotel, or even a clean one for that matter, I would find any other hotel to stay at! If you do end up staying here, don't expect to be treated with any kind of respect or even just common decency from anyone on the staff because they obviously don't understand how to treat guests! Absolutely unacceptable behavior! If I could give zero or negative ratings I would not hesitate!

Not fancy, very down home. What a great deal for the money! Very friendly desk desk staff, happily welcomed my German Shepherd without extra cost. Room was clean. Little extras like folded towels with a rubber ducky on top! Fridge microwave hairdryer. If you’re looking for fancy or upscale, this is not your place. But if you’re just a regular person that wants a good deal for the money, stay here. I will next time I come through.

Amazing price! Friendly and helpful people! Clean! Nice shower! Comfortable bed! Good continental breakfast! This place is incredible! I was stuck with roads closed 3 weeks ago and couldn't make it here. They held my room for me just in case, no charge. When I called for today's reservation, she remembered talking to me 3 weeks ago and was so nice when I got here. I repeat, this place is incredible!

We drive a truck and really needed a quite and comfortable night out of the truck. I came across this inn while searching for a pet friendly hotel. I read the reviews and decided that we would give it a try. I'm glad that we did. They are indeed pet friendly. Firstly they have no pet deposit!!! I know right!!! Anyone who travels with a pet knows it can be difficult to find a truly pet friendly place. Secondly the rooms has laminate wood flooring so you did have the added stress of worrying that your pet may have an accident. The hotel is an older property but the bed was decent and the water was hot! I also found it to be clean! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Any problems we had which were only a few were addressed and corrected quickly.

This place is wonderful! It's reasonably priced and just a short walk from downtown. A small breakfast, as well as a fridge and microwave are included in the price. It's rare to find a hotel with so many amenities so close to downtown, for such a low price. You really will not get a better deal in this town. Check in was a little confusing though, because there was no one at the front desk, and there was no sign indicating the bell we need to ring is on the wall. This old guy kept walking past and looking at us, and we only found out the next day that he works there, but he had nothing on him indicating that he's an employee. The place was a bit off putting at first, and I was confused by the random chairs and grill set up in front of the entrance, but once you get settled in, the place actually has a quaint vibe. The girl at the front desk was super friendly, and I liked that there is a back door, so you don't have to walk through the whole building. Everything was good, I just think the place could be a little more organized.

The people here are wonderful people. Our room was clean and nice. But best of all I called this place because I drove through the night. I called all kinds of places to see if I can check in early. She's told me to come on as soon as I could. When I had called it was early morning they had a full house the night before. Her and her son hurried and went and cleaned the room for me and my kids. I can't thank them enough I was so tired and so were my kids. This is the kind of extra mile you remember.
