Eagle Pointe

Place was nicely furnished and had a great pier for fishing. ||Bedrooms were large. Whirlpool tub is hard to step into and out||of for showering.||Do Not Forget your items there. after staying we were unable to reach||the manager as she was on vacation. I forgot brand new items of clothing||in the closet. By the time I was able to get thru to manager she walked thru||and items were gone. Hmmm cleaning lady never saw them. Was hoping||that whomever took them would accept a payment to return them to me.||Bad timing, bad to forget my clothes in the closet, but I would NOT recommend||this place. Keys also did not fit the door upon arrival so had to contact||maintenance before vacation even started!

Units need to be cleaned better and some maintenance done. We stayed in Unit #1 which the carpeting was recently replaced with vinyl flooring and it looked nice. Other units have worn dirty carpeting. Staying in condo's gives you use of swimming pool in hotel. Also have a dock for your boat, this is a large chain of lakes, good for sightseeing. Didn't do much fishing. Nearby town has lots of shops and activities during the summer. This facility doesn't have planned activities on site. Is a very nice on the water place to relax, with lots of things to do for the more active.

The young lady receptionist that we interrupted in the back room she said they were booked. It is August 25 a Sunday night but it didn't appear to be a full hotel. Left and found a better hotel hopefully you will have better luck staying here the pool looked fun but oh well.
