Aman Palace Hotel

Environment wise it's very very peaceful and a little away from the city. Rooms are spacious with attached bathroom with hot water. Heater was provided in bedroom, but was advised not to keep it on whole night due to local govt rule. Hot water bottles were provided. The caretaker boy was very polite and friendly. Would have liked the option to have bonfire also. Location wise - Only issue is that transport is not easily available from this location. Best would be to arrange for a self driven scooter or car if possible. Would have liked if the owner could have this as an option and arrange for this. Would have given full 5 stars due to transportation issue.

I stayed at the hotel in Srinagar. The road to hotel is very narrow and it's located on interior area of Srinagar. Out of 4 days of stay there was no power at night for 2 days. They do not have sufficient power backup. There was no hotwater due to power failure. In complimentary breakfast they just provide you tea and bread. The staff is rude. It's like a makeshift hotel situated in residential premises. Since it's not a complete hotel professionalism is missing. The staff is also very rude.

I planned a trip for the first time to Kashmir, as we say heaven....... Packed my bags and started my 4 day journey to Srinagar followed by Gulmarg, pahalgam, My sister, brother and I visited Srinagar towards the begging of April 2014. I stayed at this very beautiful hotel name Aman Palace. Everything about the hotel is just right - the location, the service, the people, the friendliness, the decor, the rooms, the cleanliness! The rooms are beautiful, really pretty views of unique Kashmiri houses around the property. The hotel environment is so peaceful, staffs are very well mannered And each and every services are the best.Rooms are very comfortable Mr. Hilal, who is the manager of the hotel Aman palace is very nice human being. He makes sure that his customer go back happily with good memories of Kashmir. I would like to suggest everyone who goes to this place should stay in this hotel and take services from Mr. Hilal. If you travel to Srinagar, you must stay here. At last missing my trip hopes to be back again. :)

I stayed at Aman Palace for the second time and must say it was a splendid experience. The location is peaceful, beautiful at the foot of the mountains which makes the atmosphere very cool and pleasant (yes, you will need a blanket even in summers :-)). The staff of the hotel was very kind, warm and helpful. During my first trip, I was extremely excited and the stay here really kept up to my expectations. You will get good home cooked food and some really good tea and kehwa. Site seeing from this location was quite convenient and does not take long to reach places like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Shalimar garden, Chashme shahi, Nishat Gardens.

Had an amazing experience staying at Aman Palace, beautiful property situated at an absolutely breathtaking location, you can literally wake up to lake, mountains, snow, valley...everything! The staff was very cooperative and helpful, they never misguided me as a tourist and took me around to some of the best places to shop, they also have their own houseboats and I was able to manage an arodrdable and beautiful stay there as well, and guess what? Our late honourable Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had once stayed at the same houseboat which was an icing on the cake, I would recommend this property to everybody who’s visiting Srinagar for an absolutely joyful experience, thank u guys, lots of love and wishes!!!

Excellent place to stay. Our stay was made pleasant by the amiable nature of the staff and manager. We also got great views of the mountains from the balcony. There is also a small dining area which gave us very kashmiri feel.

Room, was awesome. Well maintained.||||Location, was little far from the main Dal Lake, but since we had Taxi from the travel agent, for our whole trip, so it was fine for us.||I think since it was far from the city, that is why this hotel had awesome surroundings. On the side of the hotel, we had an orchid, and in the front a big lawn, and in the front of lawn, an awesome snow covered mountain :)||||Amenities, the lawn of the hotel is seriously awesome. The views from the hotel rooms were mind blowing, something I had never seen in my life.||||We were served clean, home made food, which was again nothing but awesome.

We are delighted to say fantastic customer service of 'Mr. Hilal ' Hotel Aman Palace.||That time we were looking a 2* hotel for our guest. My guest had no big budget for expense and insisted for the hotel. We had been tired when our E mails were getting failed after many effort due to bad network and weather. Unfortunately Hotel received a single missed call, we got a call from Mr. Lal. and done all fine as guest was about to reach.
