A good place recommended for budget stay at Munnar. Rooms are neat and clean. Staffs are polite and friendly. So many restaurants are available in walkable distance. And we can have nice view of tea plantations in morning

MSP Amma Cottage is wonderful! The location is great for food and transport. The room is comfortable and spotless. Most of all, the hosts are very kind, helpful, and happy. It’s a lovely place to come “home” to while in Munnar! I will stay here every time I come! Thank you for having us 😃

Very well located, close to cafes and activities. Very clean, simple, affordable and comfortable room. Hosts are *exceptional* and go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. As a solo female traveler, this place was safe and pleasant and I recommend it for a good budget private room.

Most of the hotels I've stayed at only care about making money but Raja, the hotel manager, genuinely cares about the service and user experience. For example, he was supposed to revert back to me for an advance room booking I was planning to make. However, he gave the room to someone else by mistake. Later, he apologised and gave me a free upgrade for a bigger room. When I met him in person also, I enjoyed talking to him and he was very friendly and helpful and ensured we had a pleasant stay. The room, toilet and beds were neat and clean as well. I would highly recommend staying at MSP Amma Cottage if you're planning to stay at Old Munnar (near the KSRTC bus stand). The rates are also reasonable.

Pretty good room 🙌🏻, most welcoming service and affordable. This cottage is nearby to KSRTC bus station so it's easy for a family to fetch a room nearby. They have kept even the balcony neat and clean. I have seen the room owner speaking to a foreign lady with much respect. So don't get confused and make your booking here.

A clean, quiet and budget place 2km from the town centre of Munnar. The staff are awesome and very helpful and accommodating and rooms cover everything you need and are clean. We asked for a recommendation for a trekking guide and they highly recommended Greenview next door, which they don't even receive any commission. We gave it a crack and we had the best guiding experience so far in India. No BS, given an itinerary and it was followed without any funny business/upselling/scamming that we have experienced doing other tours. The stay was lovely and the hiking was so pleasant. Highly recommend staying if you want to have a budget-friendly and simple stay.

The rooms here are very small.But the cost is very high. U will get a better room at the same price at Munnar. The toilet flush was not properly working.The bed mattress was very old and smelling bad. My request for the management is change the bed mattress and comforter. No parking. My Scooty was stuck in the parking lot for one hour as the other tourist put his Car , I had to wait till he comes and removed his Car. But the receptionist is caring and friendly. But the room was very conjusted and small
