OYO 7009 Karthika Residency

You will regret living at this place for sure. The hotel location is very good and we were happy when we reached there as it was so close to the bus stop. But as we entered.m, we saw that that it was a dirty hotel. Rooms were not ready on time and they were not ready to clean our rooms when we asked. They have us a lower quality room despite our booking for a deluxe room. No facilities in the room at all. Not even toilet soaps. The intercom never worked, and we had to go down 3 floors for every single small thing. Their rooms are not sound proof. You can clearly hear what's being talked in other rooms. The room service is absolutely zero and the staff is not cooperative at all. This hotel stay spoiled the entire mood of our holiday. Please do not stay in this hotel, ever!

Quite bad experience. Bathrooms aren't functional. Tap water was leaking, door locks are broken, toilet pipe is only occasionally hot. Hot water is occasional and that too can't be controlled. No soap, bath towels or WiFi provided. Rooms have air holes on top through which cold air and mosquitos come inside. Mosquitos were singing to us through out the night on top off the cold air from the air vents on top. A pointless balcony with a waste view. I would never recommend anyone to spend 1049 per night to stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days with my family. Phone provided at room was not working and we were forced to go to reception for each and every time to get assistance. The building is a bit old and room and bath room are average. There was no cupboard or shelf to keep personal luggage/ items. The location of hotel is good and is within one kilometer from town.

Rooms are not spacious, but neat and clean. Toilets are up to the mark. Charge reasonable. Only problem there is no in-house restaurant. One requires to go nearly one kilometer to have some food.

I stayed in this hotel from 31/10/2016 to 03/11/2016. It is not worth staying here. Though staff is good, resources available are very limited. Even fresh towels were given on 3rd day. No restaurant in the hotel. They give complimentary breakfast. but for that we have to go to the restaurant which has tieup with them. Its really frustrating. Try to avoid this hotel.

Very bad service while my stay. Intercom is not working so you have to go to reception again and again. You need to ask for everything that should be there in a hotel. Asked for towels and soap. They don't even have tea or coffee. Hot water for bathing was also not working properly. Complimentary breakfast was included for which you will have to go 2 km to some other restaurat.

No 24x7 hot water facility, hot water only available morning few hours, to fill a bucket of hot water takes me 20 mins. no working WiFi, No working intercom working, have to go to reception again and again for any service, No proper charging sockets adapter are not fitting properly and also the switch is near to socket so you can't on the switch , have bugs inside the room, full of smell inside the room, not recommended for pleasant stay.

We booked this hotel online where it was listed as an Oyo property. When we reached the given address in Munnar, we had to spend about an hour looking for this place as the Oyo sign was not written anywhere & we didn't know that the actual name of the place is Karthika Residency.||||We were given rooms no 403 & 404. Firstly, the walls were dirty & paint coming off. Bedsheets & pillow covers were all yellowish & dirty. In the bathroom of 403, the faucet didn't work while the basin tap was leaking in 404. We somehow managed to stay the first night. ||||The next morning we asked the manager to cancel our second night's reservation but he offered us different rooms which though better than the previous rooms were still not good at the given price
