The Pinewood, Nainital

Stayed at The Pinewood Nainital during my trip to Nainital and had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient and close to the main attractions, yet offers a peaceful environment away from the hustle. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful throughout the stay.🗻 The property has a cozy vibe with nice views of the surrounding hills. It's a good choice for a relaxing stay with family or friends. Would recommend for those looking for a comfortable stay in Nainital.

Will not recommend anyone to stay here. It was a pathetic experience. The rooms and washrooms were so dirty and stinking, there was dust all over, the blankets were as if they were not washed, there were bugs and insects in the bed, there was hair in the bed as if they never cleaned it. The towels were so dirty that one wouldn’t feel like using them. We ordered curd as one of the items in breakfast, and the curd was so bad literally sour and fermented as if it was rotten. Anyone who had that curd would surely fall sick. For the price they charged me (16K) for a two bed room apartment, I could’ve easily stayed at a five star property. After our nightmare experience when we told them about giving us sort of relief even in the form of a partial refund or discount, they were not willing to help us in any way. All they cared was about money and all they had to say was sorry and we’ll take this to the higher management. With such service and behavior towards their customers i dont see this property going too far. I’ve even attached few pictures of the above described. Request everyone to think twice before staying with them. Thankyou!

We booked property considering its a Leisure Hotel Group but sadly we actually repented staying in such a hotel. Linen was so bad that we could not sleep on. Thank God we were carrying couple of bed sheets which we used. Piilows were so pathetic and dirty that no one can use them. Silver fishes in the rooms could not let us sleep. Bath Towels and bath Mats were actually brownish in color full of stains. The only good part was that staff of 2 Persons were very cooperative and helpful. I will advice Leisure Hotels either to close the property or maintain it as per their standards.

Wonderful Experience at Pinewood Hotel in Nainital! We are a Brazilian couple and had an absolutely amazing stay in Nainital — and a big part of that was thanks to Pinewood Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel is simple, but very tasteful. Every detail of the environment shows care and warmth. It’s the kind of place where you feel at home, with a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the city. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean, well-organized, and quiet. The bed was great, the view was beautiful, and everything worked perfectly. We had a great night’s sleep every night! Breakfast also deserves a special mention: simple, but very tasty and well-prepared, with fresh options and local flavors. Starting the day there was always a delightful moment. Another highlight is the location: the hotel is in a calm area but still has easy access to the town center. It's not far from Mall Road, so we were able to explore a lot without any issues. But what truly made the difference during our stay was the manager, Deep. What an amazing person! Extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. He treated us with such kindness, gave us great advice, and did everything he could to make our experience perfect. Without a doubt, he was one of the best parts of our stay! Our time in Nainital was already incredible, but Pinewood Hotel and Deep made it even more special. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly helpfull owner and staff, the rooms where clean and in a quiet environment . Coffee, thee and bottle of water complementary. The breakfast was also very good! We stayed for 2 nights. |100 meters further there was a good restaurant.

Rooms are good but it's for family 2 adult +2 children. The breakfast serve here but for lunch and breakfast no kitchen is available

We stayed for 4 nights at this place in December 2024. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Deep, the hotel manager was very helpful and accomodative to our small requests. He goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. The staff too are very helpful. Recommended.
