Pine View Resort Golden Orchid

We enjoyed the hospitality of the new ownership of this homestay. We weren't staying at this place, but savoured freshly cooked home meals twice a day for 4 days. It was by chance we came upon this place, while touring the cactus garden. The friendly and welcoming demeanor of the owner struck a chord, and we kept the meals relationship. The freshly cooked meals - vegetarian and non vegetarian - left our hearts filled. We enjoyed fish, squash, daals, bhindi dishes. The sumptuous portions, the clean and hygienic atmosphere, and the cordial behavior of the owner sums up our experience. With a little advance notice, the owner obliged us to choose our meal choices. We'll be back!! Thank you!!

The location is good, but homestay is a horrible place to stay. Dirty bathroom, shabby room. Forcing 3 people to stay in a double bedroom, with an additional camp bed. The caretaker Sajal is most unhospitable and lazy. They serve drinking water in old disposable plastic water bottles. Have geyser but hot water available only for an hour. Gave only tea with biscuits as 'evening snacks'. The rooms have thin wall partition. Doors and windows have gaps, so cold air comes in the room all night. Would never stay here again.

Pine View location, lawn, garden, cactus are very impressive but room condition is very poor, lack of water (hot & cold), room service & food quality not up to mark....Room condition and service is very poor, No water supply at night (terrible condition) & 30 minutes per day guesser facility. Food (bellow quality) price is too high (Rice+dal+1 veg+1pc omlet = Rs. 250) (4 pc bread with Butter+1pc Omlet+1 cup tea = Rs. 175), There is no survive personal (one old mali may help you), All TV are out of condition.

Horrible Rooms, don't have any privercy, holes on ceiling, out side of hotel is nice. Please check rooms picture before you go. I booked the hotel for a day, but after check in I ranaway within 2 hours. Better stay another hotels and the garden you can visit by spending rs 10. This hotel is like cheap lodge (rs 200 per day) near rail station. Never come to this hotel.

I have visited the Garden only it was beautiful.. The resort is located in a beautiful place, far from town.. If u r looking for peace, u will not get bcoz of plenty of tourist coming to that place to see cactus garden..

Wonderful and caring atmosphere at the home stay!! Owner couple are accommodating and consistently ensure that the guests are taken care of.

Hotel is located at a very good location. Staffs, food and facilities were all good but the hotel room was dirty. After made a complaint they arrange another room which was good and view was also very nice
